Our 1 bedroomed apartment in Flachau is a modern, spacious, and comfortable property offering generous accommodation for up to 4 people (55 m2). It was newly built in November 2008 to exacting standards and is within walking distance (100 metres) of the Achter Jet ski lifts and après-ski. A bus stop (bus is free in Winter) is directly opposite the property for access to alternative ski slopes - Wagrain/Flachauwinkl.

The property offers under-floor heating throughout, a modern kitchen and a 42” TV with English, German, Dutch and French channels. The leather sofa-bed converts to a comfortable 4’6” bed and the large bathroom has a corner bath and separate walk-in shower. The bedroom has a Superkingsize bed and ample Wardrobe space. Access to the 2nd floor apartment can be gained by either stairs or by lift - very welcome at the end of a day skiing or walking!

The large south-facing balcony overlooks the mountains and the Flachau valley. The apartment has a cellar and boot room for storing your skis and boots, an underground car park is available for your use also.

Flachau is a village about 50kms South East of Salzburg and is the at the very heart of Ski Amade - Austria's largest skiing group - boasting 5 top regions and 25 skiing destinations. One ticket is all you need to experience the Ski Amade - with a total of 860 kilometres of slopes and 270 lifts. The Snow Space Bus can take you directly from the local stop to any one of the lower stations. The Ski-bus leaves every 15 min. daily from 8.15 - 18.00. The Bus is free for all skiers!

The resort of Flachau is famous for the great range of highly diverse, beautifully groomed pistes that surround the town. The skiing is perfect for intermediate skiers, although beginners are magnificently catered for too. There are in fact 860km of slopes across three valleys, so you should have no problems in finding a suitable challenge. Flachau has bred two world champions, including the legendary downhill skier, Hermann Maier, and there is even a permanently timed run for those wishing to add a little competition to their skiing holiday.

The village has all you would require for a holiday; fantastic scenery, skiing on your doorstep, plenty of winter or summer walks, a variety of bars, restaurants and supermarkets all within walking distance.

Away from the slopes there are a huge range of winter activities to enjoy from a self catering Flachau holiday rental. Many of the summer hiking trails that have made Flachau a year round resort are open for winter hiking expeditions and snow shoe hiking, and you can find excellent facilities for snow tubing, tobogganing or ice skating.

The Flachau area is a magnificent destination for walking holidays during the summer months, taking you through thick pine forests, along stunning Alpine ridges and to incredibly picturesque alpine lakes. There is an extensive network of walking and mountains biking trails crossing the landscape, giving you almost endless possibilities for walking, from short, post-lunch strolls to the kind of hikes which may well require a high degree of mountaineering knowledge and ability. Information on the many routes and their suitability is available from the Flachau Tourist Offices. The Enns Cycle path, which leads all the way to the River Danube, runs just behind the property.

Away from the mountains, a holiday in Flachau offers a great range of family activities too. The high ropes course is fantastic fun, providing both great challenges and spectacular views along the valley. The miniature golf course provides great entertainment too, especially in the evenings when you wish to relax after a hard day on the slopes. The is an 18-hole golf course in Radstadt if you prefer a bigger challenge. There is an adventure company in the village that organises paragliding, canyoning, river rafting etc.

Prices apply for a 3 night minimum stay for the whole apartment.
Rental rates are for the apartment for up to 4 people. Prices are inclusive of all electricity, water, bedlinen & towels. A non-refundable deposit is required on booking, amounting to 20% of the total rental cost. Final payment is required 8 weeks prior to arrival date and should include an additional €200 security deposit. This will be refunded upon confirmation that the property has been left in good condition.
Renters will be liable for all bank charges payable for international transfers. Rental costs will be calculated to GBP at the prevailing rate at the time of payments.
We can accept payment in GBP or in Euros.
Check in 3pm-7pm Check out 10am
Extra costs to rental - €1.20 per adult per night Tourist Tax; €75 final clean. Please take this charges into account when calculating full rental cost.
