From the balcony of this 3rd floor apartment the views over the village and the surrounding countryside are magnificent. The accomodation consists of a fully tiled bathroom with wc bath shower & basin; well equipped kitchen area with fridge, cooker, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker; lounge with sofa,TV. DVD player; a dining area with seating for 6. The sleeping arrangements are provided by a comfortable drop down king size bed, traditional austrian with 2 single mattresses and single quilts on a double base. The balcony has seating for 4 with a table for al fresco dining.

Activities available in season are snowboarding, off-piste, cross country skiing, ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides, tobogganing and winter walks. Also available is bowling, swimming, sauna, and a sports hall. The village has an open air swimming pool, tennis courts and play area for children.

There are numerous attractions within an hours drive: Zell am Zee is 11 miles from Maria Alm, a picturesque town on the banks of the lake. The magnificent Burg Hohenwerfen Castle at Werfen(27 miles); the Ice Caves at Werfen where you can, with a guide, explore this vast natural network of underground caverns; the Krimmler Waterfall at Krimml (45 miles), which has the highest drop in Europe; Salzburg old town and Castle are also well worth a days visit (54 miles).

Rental Notes: Rental rates are for the apartment - not per person. Change over days are flexible. All bedding and towels are supplied. There is a local charge of 45 euros for cleaning & laundry, and Tourist Tax of 1.10 euro per adult per night. We send out booking forms in response to enquiries and £50 deposit will secure the booking. The balance is to be paid by cheque or bank transfer no less than 8 weeks prior to the holiday. We ask for a refundable breakage deposit of £150. We accept Sterling cheques, bank transfers in Euro or Sterling, or PayPal.
