Welcome to Colonial Mexico! This brand new 3 Bd/3 Ba very private villa with bi-level pool is an in town property, close to grocery stores, fine restaurants and great shopping. Step through wrought iron gates and into gorgeous gardens and bougainvillea covered privacy walls. Stroll down the winding cobblestone path that leads to the main residence, and you might just catch sight of the brilliant hues of hummingbirds darting from blossom to blossom.

The azure blue hand-tiled pool sits just in the front of the double French doors that welcome you into the Hacienda. Slip into the warm waters where you can take a seat on one of the in-pool benches and sip on your favorite icy beverage. Stair built into the pool allows access to both a deep and shallow end. Two poolside palapas are connected to the main stereo system in the house, permitting your favorite music to be piped outdoors. You may just have found the perfect spot to relax unwind and leave the madness behind.

The open concept and architectural design of Hacienda Izamal take advantage of the cooling northern trade winds, but if the heat becomes a little intense, overhead fans and individual thermostatically controlled air conditioners will promise to keep you comfortable.

The first level of the villa is comprised of a well-equipped modern kitchen, the adjacent dining room with seating for eight, plus an intimate gathering spot for just catching up. A water purification system (UV & Reverse Osmosis) allows from drinking purified water from any tap at the Hacienda. Step through the dining room doors into your own private retreat, a large screened-in outdoor palapa-covered living room. Many of our renters tell us this is their favorite space a great place to kick back, sway in a hammock and watch the iguanas sun themselves on the walls. If you wish, you can even cut up some banana and toss it into the backyard for the iguanas to eat. It's great fun watching them crawl down the walls for a treat. Just make sure you have a camera close at hand! This living area also has a pull-out double futon. There's nothing like sleeping outdoors in the tropics.

You will find two bedrooms, both with queen sized beds, on the first level of the Hacienda. One bedroom has an en-suite bath, and the other bathroom can be accessed in the hall off of the second bedroom. The two downstairs bath and the upstairs master bathroom, sinks and showers, are all custom decorated in handmade talavera tiles, and the pressurized soft water system allows for all the comforts of home.

Ascend the winding staircase to the second floor and you will find a computer alcove complete with high speed internet service just in case you want to access your email while on vacation. The master suite, outfitted with king sized bed, can be found just off of the alcove. Step into the master bath and delight in the extraordinary hand-tiled tub built specially for two.

There is something for everyone to enjoy at Carnaval from the crowning of the king and queen, to the many dance competitions, nightly celebrations and parades of splendid floats. Carnaval usually ends of Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday.
The festival of Cedral, typically celebrated in May, offers traditional dance, musicians, bull fights, horse racing, famous artists and wonderful local food offerings. This is a terrific Mayan celebration.
If you like competition and deep sea fishing, you should take part in our local tournament fishing for blue marlin, mahi mahi, barracuda, etc. Prizes range from cash to vehicles and mottos.
Year round enjoy our championship golf course, fantastic scuba diving, snorkeling, tours of local ruins, tequila tours, ATV jungle tours, sun, sand, and surf.

Vacation Rental Policies

* Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, PayPal, Personal Check, Credit Card

* Check In: 2 p.m.

* Check Out: 10 a.m.

* Required Stay: Minimum 4 nights Saturday to Saturday during high season

* Lodging Tax: Add 12%

* Deposits: In order to confirm your dates, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit of the total rental fee, plus the fully refundable security deposit in the amount of $300.00. All fees are payable in U.S. dollars. Methods of payment we currently accept include; personal check, bank draft, money order, PayPal cash disbursal drawn on a personal bank account or PayPal credit card payment. * Please note, if you wish to confirm your reservation by credit card payment through PayPal, there will be an additional 3.5% surcharge to the required down payment.
Second portion of payment is due and payable upon check-in USD only please.
