This 2 master bedroom villa is conveniently located 800 meters above the town of Uvita. Uvita is the main entrance to Ballena National Park which is one of Costa Rica's finest national underwater parks. Tour operators here will bring you snorkling right off the coast of Ballena Isla or to the famous Cano Island for scuba or snorkeling. They also offer tours to Corcovado National Park just across the bay for a day of hiking in one of the few primal forests left in the world. Or choose a day of deep sea fishing or tour Uvita's 1000 acre wildlife preserve. Go 5 miles down the coast road to kayak on the Terraba River in the largest mangrove in all of Central America. Or go zip-lining through the rain forest. We also have several wonderful waterfalls which you can walk to or rent a a horse and ride there. Uvita Point looks like and is called the whale's tail and it divides the endless coastline of beaches into two distinct kinds. On one side, enjoy vigorous surf for both swimming and surfing. And on the other side, enjoy the calm water ideal for snorkeling and young children. Of course, there is always spending the day by the side of your own private pool. The pool is 40 feet long and has a filter system which is chlorine free.

Conveniently located 800 feet above the village of Uvita, where the mountains go right down to the Pacific ocean, this private 2000 square foot villa is nestled in a secluded jungle setting. There are ocean views across the entire west side of the villa: kitchen, dining area, living room and veranda. One of the two bedrooms is set behind the veranda and can open up on it, allowing for an ocean view from bed. With ocean breezes all day and cool mountain air at night, there is no need for air conditioning (although one bedroom has an in-wall unit). There are two large bedrooms with queen sized beds. One bedroom has an additional single size bed. All closets are dehumidified. Modern American kitchen and vaulted ceilings with palm frond ceiling fans give this villa both comfort and beauty. Enjoy the 40 foot "chlorine-free" pool. Incredible wildlife and spectacular sunsets make Casa Toucan unforgettable. A birdwatcher's paradise!

Rates

Low Season Price : $1000
High Season Price : $1500 per Week


$1500 for the High Season with the exception of Christmas and New Year's weeks. Individually, they are $2500 a week. If you rent both weeks, the price goes down to $4000 for the two weeks. The Low or Green Season begins the 1st of May and ends the middle of December.
