Vacation Rental Description

Enjoy and relax on the terrace of your 2 floor spacious home in the hills of Escaleras. Private entrance to the guest bedroom and lower terrace where one is just steps away from the swimming pool and deck. This bedroom has a private shower bathroom. The circular stairwell leads you up to the top floor where the open floor plan allows for fun entertaining at the attractive bar counter. Newly remodeled kitchen with lovely blues and golden colors sooth the mind, reflects the light of the sun as it flows through the sky. Wonderful views can be enjoyed from the bedrooms and the living and kitchen area have large windows to better allow the outside in. Large ceiling keeps the flow going and the beams are distinct Chiricano wood and the "tablier" ceiling Mariscaran wood. Floors are cool terracotta.

Deep 3 meter swimming pool with steps allow for wallowing with a drink in the clean well maintained water.

Costa Rica affords the opportunity to do as much or as little as one likes. Nearby to the home are nature preserves and beaches. Inland one can find rafting and trekking. In the town nearest there are numerous surfing schools and even a yoga center. Whether you are looking for a do nothing, read and sleep and beach holiday, or an active one, or even a little of both - our home is a good location to fulfill your desires.

Activities near Uvita

Adventure Sports, Beach, Biking, Boating, Fishing, Golf, Hiking, Horse Riding, Kayaking, Rafting, Restaurant, Shopping, Zoo/Wildlife Park

There are many adventure and wilderness businesses waiting for your arrival. The choices are varied and depending on what you want to do there is something for you. National parks are a drive away (Manuel Antonio, Ballenas) and unspoiled practically empty beaches are very close. Horseback riding, tree canopy tours, visiting natural farms to see how the local people are trying to be self sustaining. We are also a little closer to the Osa Penninsula. And, not too far from Jaco, though I don't recommend going to Jaco.

For a long term rental the possiblilty exists to have internet and cable. The wires are in place. The home is furnished simply with a long term tenant in mind. However, the inherent beauty is in the location and in the home itself. Open, spacious, lots of seating, a cool bar counter, swimming pool and the long terraces are a real draw.

Cleaning-housekeeping can be arranged with local woman, this would be an extra charge to the tenant.

Low Season Price : $1250
High Season Price : $1500 per Month
Payment by wire transfer, bank transfer, Pay pal ok. $500 deposit required with rental to be returned upon departure. Cancellation policy: 80% returned 1 month prior to arrival, 0% less than 1 month.

To secure rental: 50% one month or more from arrival. Balance upon arrival.
