We are located in a tropical paradise where the mountains meet the Pacific Ocean. We have one of the best close-up views in the southern coastal region. The beach is moments away. Ballena Marine National Park is only a 15 minute drive down the Coastal Highway, with a gorgeous string of beaches along the way and two other National Parks close by. Great for those on their honeymoon. 
 
From your top floor 180´ unobstructed ocean view terrace you can see a variety of birds and wildlife throughout the day. Watch the activity of the local fishing boats from the small anchorage in the bay. There is a primary jungle ridge behind the house that is corridor for white-faced and Holler Monkeys with best viewing results early in the morning & late afternoon. 
 
Olas Hermosas sits on a rare spot on the ocean side of the coastal highway, built with the remarkable view as the architectural focal point and from every part of the efficiency you'll see the beautiful bay, stunning beach and ocean views. Even when you are in the shower. Two boogie boards can be rented for your entire visit for a very minimul charge and we also have a cell phone for calls within Costa Rica that can be used at our cost.  
 
Get away from the crowds and stay in a private, clean, secure environment. It is not uncommon that you will find you are the one on this secluded mile-long picturesque beach just a 4 minute walk to swim, sunbathe, stroll the beach or look for shells and sand dollars. Beach chairs are provided for your comfort on the beach and also a cooler for your cool drinks plus snacks are provided. Two boogie boards can be rented for your entire visit for a very minimul charge and we also have a cell phone for calls within Costa Rica that can be used at our cost.  
 
Relax at the end of the day and watch as the sun slowly sinks into the ocean. In addition to the regular gorgeous sunsets, you will experience the soothing sound of the rhythm of the ocean waves or, at other moments, witness dramatic scenes as huge waves encounter the rocks in a beautiful display of Nature at her best. 
 
Olas Hermosas is furnished with a full kitchen, AC, hot water, sunflower seed shower head, washer and dryer, speaker system that can be used with your iPod or other music input devices, BBQ and cable TV. A king-size bed converts to two twins, and for the third or fourth person there is one double futon and/or a high end air bed with pump. All you need to bring are your personal items. 
 
The front has a private gated entrance. You do not need a 4-wheel drive since you never have to leave pavement from the airport to our gated entrance. You will only be a mile from shops and restaurants in the village of Dominical. There are a couple of restaurants that walking distance from the property. The front yard area is fully landscaped using tropical plants and flowers found locally.  
 
The efficiency is perfect for a a single person or a couple but can accommodate 4. You can enjoy the views from the comfortable outside furniture or the inside couch positioned to maximize your view. The top floor unit has a full kitchen, full bath, air conditioning, hot water and access to washer/dryer. A private gated entrance with off-street protected parking and private terrace is yours to enjoy . Olas Hermosas is only two kilometers from little shops and restaurants in the village of Dominical. A wonderful waterfall with a fun swimming hole is not far away. 
 
We can help you with transportation from the airport, car rentals, and activities in the area, knowledge of best restaurants, our favorite local beaches or any other general information about the area. Detailed directions w/photos are provided.

We have a 300 square foot covered patio with a outside dining table and enough outdoor furniture if you want to invite guests for a sunset get together. The longer you stay the lower the daily rate. We have had guests stay as long as three months and they did not want to leave as they had become close friends by the end of their visit. We have our cleaning person freshen up the place each week with daily service available at a very reasonable rate. We also have a couple of boogie boards that you can use for $10 each during your entire stay. A hair dryer is also available for the asking. Rafts to lounge in the pool are provided too plus a shaded patio area with outdoor furniture by the pool is yours to use plus a lounge for the sunny areas or under the trees in the private front yard.
