- Travel Info: Our mountain property (at 2,100 feet) overlooks the Golfo Dulce and Osa Peninsula. We are located just a short drive from the acclaimed Wilson Botanical Garden in a region that produces some of Costa Rica’s finest coffee. We are off-the-beaten tourist track, which gives guests an “authentic” Costa Rican experience, including local festivals, indigenous craft demonstrations, and Spanish immersion. Day trips to the coast can easily be made, and guests are always happy to return “home” to our cool climate after experiencing the heat and humidity of the coast. The property is located in a heavily forested area, where many species of wildlife can be found, including monkeys, toucans, and a dazzling array of butterflies.
