There are additional activities within a short driving such as surfing,zip lines,watching the Leatherback turtles lay their eggs,and so on.A 4 hour drive away is an active volcano . It is fairly easy to get in and out and around Tamarindo.Local buses that run from 5am-10pm daily with limited service on Sundays. Playa Langosta to the south is easily walkable on the beach or by the road. Playa Grande to the north is just a $2.00 boat ride to cross the estuary. There are also local cab drivers in the center of town plus a free shuttle bus to the local garden plaza and the big supermarket. The beach is about 5 or 6 blocks from the condo and the nightlife is all located on the main road off of the beach.There is definitely lots of action in Tamarindo. 2 new bars called Bar UNO and Aqua Discoteque just went up within the last 6 months in addition to the existing ones. There is something to do every day and night of the week.
