The setting is truly spectacular. Playa Carrillo (4 miles from Samara) is unspoiled and one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica with 1.5 miles of white sand, lined with palm trees, no buildings and few people. 
 
Casa Sevana is located on a very calm street, just two minutes walk from the village main street – with grocery stores and restaurants – and three more minutes walk to the beach. It sits on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Carrillo Bay and lush greenery where colorful tropical birds fly around and, sometimes, a howler monkey family swings by. 
 
Casa Sevana is a work of love designed by the architect/owner in a Scandinavian modern style with much attention to details and comfort. The house was finished in December 2007. It has two floors (1965 sq. ft.) that open towards the view, with three bedrooms with A/Cs that sleep five persons, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living & dining room with teak cathedral ceilings, two large terraces and a laundry room. The tropical garden offers privacy, a large lawn, BBQ and a 25-foot long sparkling pool.
