2 Bedroom House in Ostional

La Casa de las Ventanas is a newer home built on the top of a hill in a gated community overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Amazing jungle & ocean views with no other homes in site. This tropical home offers a very unique vacation experience due to the abundance of wildlife in the area and the world class surf. Imagine floating in the pool as you watch families of howler monkeys feasting on the leaves in the tree tops. There are iguanas, lizards, crabs, kotimundi, and more than 190 species of birds & parrots. Ostional is known as one of the most important turtle nesting sites in the world and the area is considered a national refuge. During the full moon periods tens of thousands of Olive Ridley Turtles will come ashore to bury their eggs. The house is located walking distance to a world class beach break as well as two more great surf spots 20 minutes North and South, Marbella and Playa Guionnes. 
The house has a Swimming pool with outdoor shower. 1 King bed in Master Bedroom with ocean view. 2 sets of bunk beds (double on bottom, single on top) in 2nd bedroom and another set of single bunk beds in hallway nook. Full Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and all cooking utensils.  
House comes fully equipped with all linens and beach/pool towels. 
Currently there are only 2 other finished houses in this gated community giving you wonderful privacy. An amazing vacation experience for a family or a group of friends.  
 
 

Cleaning/maid service/cooking available upon request. Rates are very reasonable. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and there are ceiling fans all around. The house has large windows and sliding doors to allow ocean breezes. Walk to the center of Ostional where you can buy local seafood, breads, fruits and vegetables.

Guided walking tours are available from volunteer conservationists when the turtles are laying their eggs on the beach. When you are sunbathing on the beach you might see the baby turtles as they hatch and crawl into the ocean.  
There is fishing, horseback riding, diving, hiking and the exciting zip line canopy tour.  
There are day trips to volcano tours and of course lots of surfing all along the local beaches. 
Ostional is approx. 15 minutes away from the Nosara air strip which is serviced by Nature Air and Sansa Airlines. You can fly into the town of Liberia, C.R. which is a 2 hour drive from the North, or the capital San Jose which is a 5 1/2 hr. drive from the East. From San Jose you can rent a car, hire a driver or take an air shuttle via Nature Air or Sansa Airlines into the town of Nosara and then a rental car to the house. The taxi and driver are used often and are very reasonable in cost. There are also buses.
