Snorkelers: Playa Ocotal offers Guanacaste's best "walk-up" snorkeling. The rock formations at both ends of the beach attract numerous species of small, colorful fish. Rental equipent is available on the beach. The owners of Los Almendros condo #42 provide their guests free snorkeling equipment. They have snorkeling gear in adult and children sizes.

- Travel Info: Los Almendros is a 30 minute drive from the Liberia Airport. We recommend using Toyota or Vamos rental car companies. If you prefer, Los Almendros can arrange for you to be picked up at the airport by a taxi or van. The cost for this service is $60-$75 one way. If you use a taxi service to be tranported to Los Almendros, you can have a rental car delivered to your condo on whatever day best fits your needs.
Taxi service from Los Almendros to Playas del Coco is available and costs $7 US each way.
