BELIZE is the only English speaking country in Central America.In the heart of San Ignacio, Cayo District, Belize, C.A. Walk to the quaint shops and restaurants of downtown San Ignacio Minutes away from Mayan Ruins, 1000 ft. waterfall and cave tubing, canoe the rivers, look for wildlife, or a walk through the rain forest.

WE are a fully equipped 2 bedroom house, the master bedroom has a queen sized bed, the smaller one has a double bed, both located on the second floor. The bath, shower, and kitchen have butane generated hot water, not passive
solar. There is an extra foldout in the downstairs living room, for up to a total of 5 people. The 2 bedrooms have their own air conditioner. Both balconies are located on the second floor, one off the master bedroom, within reach of thegrapefruit tree. The other is over the living room area and is shaded by a beautiful plum tree. The kitchen is on the main floor and is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils and table settings, and all the little extras you will need. The dining room is located on the main floor near the kitchen and seats 6. Cable TV, and stereo, and digital alarm clocks are also included. Fully fenced yard, with lockable pedestrian & driveway gates. Sit in the shade of the many trees ( ficus, coconut and young banana, hibiscus, grapefruit) and listen to the birds. Relax with a cool drink and a plate full of fresh tropical fruit from the farmers market. All furniture and appliances were new as of November 2008. The house and yard are family, child and pet friendly.

THEWRE are NO rate changes for the high/low seasons. Payment can be made by credit card through Pay Pal,Bank
Transfer or Bank Draft. We are registered and inspected with the Belize Tourism Board, and must charge a 10% tax on the above rental rates. The rate quoted are in USA dollars.

A 50 % deposit will be required to hold the reservation, with the remaining 50% due 30 days prior to arrival.

GROUND transportation can be arranged for you and your party from anywhere inBelize to San Ignacio at very reasonable costs. ( Money is payable to the driver).

WHETHER you choose to drive yourself, take a commercial tour, or hire a local guide/driver for your party, don't miss the opportunity. We found that hiring a local guide/driver was the best for the 2 of us. Not only was the price more reasonable, they took you to what you wanted to see, to what you wanted to do, you have the opportunity to stop at all the view points to take pictures, take a walk, or sit by a waterfall for lunch or a swim.Our Casa Nan host does have a vehicle for rent for the more adventorus at a very reasonable price. Please ask, when inquiring about the house.

THE Casa Nan host in San Ignacio, Roy, will be willing to assist you in arranging your side trips to the many wonders of Belize, possibly driving you himself, or recommending some of the better guides to use. If you want 20 pictures while enroute to a location, they will stop 20 times. Others will not likely do this for you. Check with Roy when you get to Casa Nan. Be sure to pack a towel, swimsuit, sunscreen, a hat, a bottle of water and room in
your camera for lots of pictures.

San Ignacio is the second largest City in Belize, up in the mountains, rivers and ruins. The center for tours to the Maya Ruins in Belize and Guatamela. River rafting, cave tubing, canoeing, bird watching, butterfly farms, Maya cave exploring, and Pyramid climbing are all nearby. Take a day trip to shop and explore Guatemala.
