Vacation Rental Description

Harbor House(HH) is located overlooking American Yacht Harbor on the East End of Saint Thomas, USVI; this area is considered the "Gold Coast" of STT. Area of best Resorts (Ritz), Beaches (Vessip, Ritz, Secret Harbor, Sapphire). Our favorite beach is Secret Harbor which is a 5 minute drive from HH. This beach has a casual restrauant, beach bar, beach shower, palm trees for shade, and excellant snorkeling & swimming. Everything but private Pool is located on the top level with a huge deck that runs lenght of the House with outdoor seating for 8 & large SS BBQ. Part of deck is covered for sun protection located off one suite; balance of deck is open. Twin master suites located at opposite ends of the house with private entrance(s) to view deck. Large private lap pool is 12X35ft & 4'to 8' deep. Beautiful view of Yacht Harbor, Red Hook, & Caribbean. House is furnished 5 Star with King & Queen Beds with delux furnishings. Kitchen has all SS appliances, ice maker, & commerical propane stove. HH is only 2 years old & was build by owner/builder for his retirement home. Beds, furnishings, & House are delux & the HH was build for the owner/builder as his retirement home at a cost in excess of $1 million.

HH fronts a National Park which separates the HH from the Yacht Harbor. Via Park road it's a easy 5 minute walk to Red Hook, Vessip & Ritz Beaches. Red Hook has 7 restrauants, pharmacy, mail room, food store, some shoping, St. John and British Virgin Island Ferry, and American Yacht Harbor. Location of the HH keeps you out of busy downtown & the steep & remote Northside. East End is my recommended location on St. Thomas.

We include the use of one of our cars during your stay at the Harbor House. We arrange Airport pickup for you & your group. We provide a car for you; drivers must be over 25 yrs old, have a valid DL, drive on the left. You pay only for your oil & fuel. We recommend you don't drive on the North side at night due to the narrow roads
The car is not new but in good condition.

Also included is a private day charter on our 35 foot Maxum Poweryacht. We normally go to Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgins to one of the most Beautiful beaches in the Caribbean call White Sand Bay. This is home of the Soggy Dollar Bar & Grill where they claim to have invented the "pain killer". Enroute we stop off to Snorkel at a beautiful reef off St. John. We provide the yacht; you pay the fuel ($300), skipper & crew ($200), and British day customs ($15 ea). Passports are required for this trip. It's always considered a highlight of the week on your Caribbean Vacation. The skipper knows the local history; dive, swimming,& snorkel spots, and plans a fun day for your group. On board are soft drinks, water, ice, and a bottle of rum. Custiom provisioning is available on request.

We have been going to the US Virgins for 25 years and have had a home there the last 12 years. Sandy & I also crewed a large sailing yacht in the US & British Virgins for 5 years. East End is best area of St. Thomas. Red Hook has shopping, restrauants, pharmacy, mail room,and St. John & BVI Ferry. Several beaches are located on East End with the best snorkeling. East End is safe, secure, and easy to get around outside the downtown area where often up to 5 cruise ships (or more) arrive daily. Cruise ship guests normally swim at Megans Bay on the North Side which is often crowded.

Villa Rental Rates

Low Season Price : $550
High Season Price : $700 per Day
To secure a reservation a $2500 deposit is required. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Payment in check or credit card is acceptable.
A $1000 security deposit is required which is fully refundable on satisfactory checkout.
Payment of a $150 Cleaning fee is required
Special Honeymoon & Couple Rates are available
Special long term rates available
At least a three (3) day rental is required
(boat & car extra on short term rental)
Cancellation of deposit 3 months prior to rental date is 90% refundable. Using deposit for alternative date is 100% applied 60 days prior to rental (Christmas & New Years excluded)
