Vacation Rental Description
ADVENTURE is an arty villa located end of private "Upper Carolina estate" road on 1 acre of fenced tropical gardens & orchard above Coral Bay village and harbor, next to 65 acres of Moravian Church land.
Its location on the hill provides beautiful views, nice breezes and utmost privacy.
The villa will be all yours. No neighbor except humming birds, banana Quits, wild doves, bush cats and iguanas.
At Adventure villa, you can relax and be one with nature and its wild life while sharing the best of both worlds: "sea and shore" as the villa has deeded access to Johnson's beach for you to organize a pick nick or happy hour watching the sunset right on the shore (7 minute drive)
3 bedrooms with 3 full bath have private entrances and decks with panoramic views on harbor and surrounding hills. Spacious loft.
Five minute drive to Coral Bay village: bar & restaurants with live music, grocery & deli shops, Internet cafes & post offices. Local art shops and rentals for boating, snorkeling, Kayaking, scuba diving, day sail, motor boat rentals, sport-fishing,
12 minute drive to north or south shore pristine beaches offering nice snorkeling, para-sailing, windsurfing and easy access to kids.
5 minute drive to Reef Bay or Johny Horn Trails, the best hikes on St John (IMHO).
You may also visit Fort Berg on horse back riding.
You may come back to Adventure villa tired but with a smile on your face.
After a short shower and a snack in the kitchen, you will be ready to enjoy a gourmet meal with live music and dancing in a nice choice of restaurants in Coral Bay.

UPPER LEVEL :
MASTER BEDROOM : Queen bed, full bath & stone shower inlaid with shells. Screened ceiling open to flower gardens.Private access to decks.
SPACIOUS LOFT : twin beds, book library, nice breezes & panoramic views on harbor, is an ideal retreat for kids or another couple.
LIVING ROOM : cathedral ceilings, 3 sofas, Cable, DVD, Stereo & music library.
Adventure villa is laid out east to west which allows the easterly Trade winds and ceiling fans to ventilate every room.
FULL KITCHEN provides basic cooking ingredients, coffee, spices & sauces.
A SAFE for your valuables is bolted to the floor in the kitchen closet.
INDOOR & outdoor dining areas sit 10 people.
SUNNY AND SHADY tiled decks with wrought iron lounge chairs and armchairs. Sits 10 people.
The GRILL is on the shady porch.
LOWER LEVEL :
GARDEN BEDROOM or 3rd bed, King bed, full bath, private entrance & decks, TV, VCR, CD player, mini kitchen.
COTTAGE or 4th bed, queen bed, full bath, private entrance & decks, TV, Cd player, walking closet, mini kitchen,
available for an additional $500.
LAUNDRY ROOM is located west end of the house on the lower level. Laundry and showers waters go to flower gardens.
After many years of travels and sailing on our 35 feet boat through the Caribbean arch, our family needed a safe and spacious place to enjoy. Now that our kids are grown up, Adventure villa became a successful weekly rental. Its 4,100 square feet provide enough space for family reunion among original paintings by local artists, carvings & artifacts brought back from a 6 years stay in Africa.
You will enjoy the view of Coral harbor and the ballet of the sugar birds on the porch & expansive decks while the outdoor cats helplessly watch them.
There is a saying : "Nice house, nice guests". Adventure's guests fall in love with the villa and always treat it well. At check out time, we often find a farewell gift added to the charm of the villa by guests. It is a warm feeling.
ADVENTURE villa is Your home from home.You may travel light : there are plenty of beach chairs & beach toys & basic pharmaceutic drugs for adults & children.
Air mattress for a 9th person $30/night. Crib for infant.
Sleeps 8-9.
Smoking permitted only on porch & decks.
Facilities
Wifi internet if you bring your computer, Barbecue grill, fully equipped kitchen with basic cooking ingredients, coffee, spices and drinking water to start your stay. There is a safe for your valuables and iron & iron board. Mini kitchen in 2 bedrooms. Beach towels, beach chairs & beach toys for adults & children. Basic pharmaceutical drugs. You may travel light. Adventure villa is your family home from home. WILD LIFE: The villa is visited by humming birds and Banana Quit "sugar birds" fed with sugary water by guests on the shady porch. Honey bees are busy sucking the nectar of Hibiscus, Frangipany and Jasmin flowers. They polanize the papaya, cherry and lime trees. Sometimes an iguana wanders on the decks under the surveillance of the outdoor cats. Yes Doves and Robins will wake you up early in the morning. This is the way life is to enjoy at Adventure villa.
Activities
At Adventure villa and cottage, you can relax and be one with nature and its wild life while sharing the best of both worlds "Sea and Shore" as the villa has deeded access to Johnson beach(7 minute drive) for you to organize a pick nick or happy hours right on the shore.

We will run special adds to help fill up a booking that you cancelled. When able to re-rent the villa, all payments are refundable, less a 20% administration fee. We suggest that you purchase travel insurance. The landlord cannot be responsible for cancellation due to family problem, uncontrolled natural disaster or airline strike. STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS – No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained, we do not refund due to road conditions. 4WD vehicle is necessary.

We really enjoyed being guests at your home. We enjoyed the views, the seclusion, the breezes & the ambiance of your home. We specially enjoyed the landscaped gardens that you maintain around your home. We are from South Dakota and have a small nursery, so we appreciate what you have done.

We really had a great time! The villa was fabulous. Being our first time in the VI, you made our trip one to remember. We are hoping to bring a group with us next Time. Bruce took amazing photos of the plants in bloom.

die villa liegt am ende einer strasse 4rad jeep ist erforderlich
mitten in der Natur einfach eine traumhafte lage
mit phantastischem Ausblick auf Coral Bay
Komplette Ausstattung und herrliche Ruhu
liebevolle Katzen warten bei jeder Ankunft, dann noch Zuckerwasser für die Vögel
alles für einen super erholsamen Urlaub auf einer ruhigen Insel
