Vacation Rental Description
Large family house in hillside location, with panoramic views from wide verandahs surrounding the property. Rooms are spacious and airy with high ceilings and ceiling fans throughout. There are four main double bedrooms and one staff self-contained bedroom, making 5 in all. Four bedrooms are en-suite and one shares facilities. The kitchen is well-equipped with 2 large fridges and a freezer as well as dishwasher and washing machine, also microwave, food processor etc. Satelite TV, CD player and fax machine are provided. Broadband internet access at no extra charge. Voltage is 112. 
The house is set in a mature garden well-maintained with tropical flowers and fruit trees. It is a paradise for birds and butterflies, brightly-coloured lizards sun themselves and in the evening the cicadas and fireflies create an exotic background to the rum punch on the terrace, while you watch the sun setting in a blaze of red and orange. Sunsets at Windy Edge are legendary. 
'Secluded but not isolated' is the best way to describe the location. The small capital town of Scarborough is about 10 mins away by car, our nearest beach and restaurents a similar distance, the airport 30 mins. Activities can be arranged as required with the help of our housekeeper who looks after our guests with great care and attention to detail. A hire car can be arranged for you and meals provided if required.

    • Set high in the green hills of Tobago, Windy Edge is the perfect place for a relaxing and restful holiday. Most of our guests return year after year. For those wanting more action we are not far from any of the activities on offer. The nearest beach Little Bacolet is 10 minutes by car and, with its own beach bar, is a firm favourite. The house was built in the 1960s by a former US Ambassador to Japan wishing to retire in Tobago; the oriental influence in its design makes for a calm and peaceful atmosphere. It is laid out on one level and surrounded by wide verandahs with sensational views. Over 2 acres of grounds surround it and whilst cultivated around the house and pool, there is a large area left as forest lower down the hill creating a wildlife sanctuary. There is an abundance of birds, over 30 species have been seen around the grounds; tropical fruit such as mangoes, papaya, bananas, pineapples and limes are available for guests.

    Concordia is a quiet location in the hills behind Scarborough, which means you are perfectly placed to explore both Atlantic and Caribbean coasts and also the rainforest. Shops and restaurents are with easy reach and the airport is a half-hour drive. Your nearest beach is just an 8 minute drive. Being high up the views are fabulous, and with this position the house catches the breezes and there is no need for airconditioning. Ceiling fans are fitted throughout and windows can safely be left open all the time. The garden is extensive and mature with plenty of trees and shady areas with a 32'x16' pool. Housekeeper service 6 days per week, pool cleaning 3 days a week.

    Low season £850 per week High season £1100 per week Christmas and New Year holiday period £1200 Summer holidays £950 per week discounts are available in low season for parties of less than 4 people, please ask for details. A letting agreement will be sent to you if you want to make a booking and on receipt of the signed agreement and cheque for 25% of the total rental the booking will be confirmed. The remaining rental charge is due 2 calendar months before date of arrival. Car rental can be arranged for you, and the house stocked with food as required. A meal can be prepared for your arrival if you wish. You pay for this locally. Our housekeeper will assist you with trips, shopping, restaurents etc. Every effort is made to ensure that your holiday is the best ever.
