On the South West Coast, artfully tucked away in the most beautiful back pocket of St.Lucia, Mango Point is situated on 5 acres of lush tropical hillside facing the magnificent view which sweeps across the lush hills, Soufriere Bay and the 2 titanic pyramidal peaks, soaring to a height of 2900 ft above the cobalt Caribbean Sea.
Red roofs, thick island stone walls and graceful archways set the tone for a Spanish colonial style house. Tradewinds cooled at 300 ft above sea level, the house opens all its doors towards the sea and on a tropical garden. It has 4500 sq.ft. under cathedral ceiling graced by hand carved exotic wood beams and paddle fans.
The floor is terra cotta tiled throughout. Separate wings for sleeping, dining, cooking and leisure are wrapped around a courtyard shaded by fragrant jasmine wines. The air circulates freely as the house breathes space that even birds are confused.
Seemingly suspended at the edge of the hillside, the large pool faces the majestic Pitons, spacious decks with chaise lounges and a sun-sheltering gazebo where you can relax and watch the sailing boats going by from your hammock.
Artworks, toile fabrics, and quality furnishings have been specially selected to make the interior of the villa so special to our guests.
The Living area has imported Ralph Lauren furniture while the bedrooms have a West Indian feeling: 2 of the Master bedrooms have mahogany king size four poster beds. Few steps down is the 3rd suite, creole tree house, painted inside and out in blue and white. This charming room has a queen size ironwork canopy bed and enjoys stunning views of its decks. All oversized the bedrooms have large closets, quality linen, safe box, ceiling fans, and bath ensuite.
A bedroom with twin beds can accommodate two more. (One cot bed is available in one of the Master bedrooms as well as a crib}. Much care has gone into quality, security and comfort. The large kitchen (Mexican tiled) is fully-equipped and a laundry room is adjacent to it.

Part of the bonheur to stay at Mango Point is our warm and reliable staff. Our chief housekeeper is an excellent cook. She knows how to mix delicious rum punches, daiquiris, pina coladas or fruit cocktails. A maid keeps the house orderly and does the house laundry.
Both wear the fresh St.Lucian madras costume and comes daily (half day on Sunday). They will do their best to make your stay a memorable one.
Martin, the head gardener and his help complete the staff.
Anse Chastanet swaying palm trees Beach, one of the loveliest in St. Lucia, is a 15 mn walk downhill. It is a real reef paradise for divers and snorkelers. Tennis can be arranged close to the villa.
