Vacation Rental Description
Beautifully furnished and fully equipped kitchens our apartments are a home away from home. Comfortable living rooms with Cable TV, Dvd, Cd/Radio and Wireless High Speed Internet, separate dining area and ceiling fans. The kitchen is equipped with full size Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, Microwave, Coffer Machine, Blender, Toaster and Electric Kettle. All the bedrooms have air conditioning, king/queen size bed, fitted wardrobes and vanity unit with hairdryer. The bathrooms with either multi jet panel showers or large Jacuzzi bath.Outside each apartment has a private patio with table and chairs for alfresco dining, there is also a large gas barbecue for guest use.
A 28ft Swimming Pool with Heated Spa Tub. There is a large deck with loungers and a beautiful garden to relax away from the pool.
We offer all guests an orientation of the local area the day after arrival to get them acquainted with their holiday destination. We provided some general groceries in the apartments on arrival so guests don't have to go straight to the shops after their long journey. Maid service is twice a week, but extra days can be arranged. There is also a selection of DVD's and board games for guest use.
My husband, Simon and I are English and moved to St. Lucia in 2007. We renovated this property and set up Blue Skies. We love the Island and our ambition is to help our guests have a fantastic time. We love the Rodney Bay area, it is where everything happens. You have the best of both worlds: the buzz surrounding the restaurants, bars and night-clubs along by Reduit Beach...
The beautiful scenery and quiet sophistication of Rodney Bay Marina parading elegant yachts of every shape and size. Within a few minutes we have Pigeon Island - a National Park, so quiet and beautiful: you can lay on a near deserted beach taking in the fantastic views with the calm waters of the Caribbean sea gently lapping. For contrast, travel another 7 or 8 minutes to the wild side. Cas en Bas Beach is on the Atlantic Coast: here the constant warm winds provide power for the Kite Surfers and horses take their riders into the sea. The landscape is rugged and breathtaking.
We offer to take our guests to all the places mentioned, the day after they arrive, to show them the diversity of this part of the Island and hopefully help them to get as much as possible from their stay. Throughout the time guests stay with us, we are available to assist; whether it is a small thing like where to buy a particular item or some thing larger -planning a major excursion of the Island for instance, we are always delighted to help in any way we can - we love St. Lucia and want our guests to leave with unique and long-lasting happy memories.

Great Hosts, Wonderful Accommodation!!
My husband and I took a friend (70 years of age ) with us on this trip. We needed to ensure that the place we chose would be as perfect for her as it was for us, and we certainly did that.
We honestly could not find fault with this accommodation. The two bedroom apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortably furnished and very well eqipped with everything you need. Lovely gardens which Simon has worked hard on and is continuing to do so...future guests may well be able to pick their own fruit in time. The pool and jacuzzi were very welcome and has already been said, with only 2 appartments, can't get crowded.
Unless you want to be in the very centre of the resort, the apartments are situated in a nice quiet location with views of the surrounding hills .
We did not hire a car but used the taxi driver that Simon recommended, and this worked very well for us.
What really sets this accommodation apart is the friendliness and level of service from the owners...Simon and Francine. Francine collected us from the airport ( for a very reasonable charge ) and soon afterwards left Simon to look after us as she went to visit family in England. Nothing was too much trouble for Simon ...driving us to beaches and restaurants,making phone calls, giving advice and even setting Skype up on our laptop ! All this was done with such a cheery attitude which we appreciated very much.
We note previous comments about the dogs. I love dogs but my husband and the friend who was with us are both indifferent. The dogs ( and Zorro the cat ) did appear when we ate on the terrace, but never made any nuisance of themselves, as they went away if we shooed them off. ( Okay...maybe a little reluctantly if we were eating chicken, but never the less they went ! ) Not once when we were personally at the pool did Ziggy the younger dog present a problem....in fact we found that the dogs mostly kept away from the pool area. Simon was very approachable and had the animals been a problem to any of us , we would have had no qualms in asking him to assist.
WIth the restaurants we found Delirius to be one of the best ....the food was good and not as expensive as some of the other restaurants.
If we go back to St Lucia, availability permitting, it would definitely be to the Blue Skies apartments....you can't go wrong.

Great Place, Great Vacation, Great Hosts!!
Spent Christmas and New Years at Blue Skies. We loved it. The apartment was super clean, modern, and very spacious. The pool is warm and always very clean. Simon and Francine were the best. They took us on an orientation of the nearby beaches, restaurants, and attractions. They showed us super nice beaches and gave us the inside scoop. We loved St Lucia and highly recommend Blue Skies for its location, hospitality, and comfort. Simon knows just about everyone and can arrange for hiking, diving and kitesurfing excursions. My son went kite surfing almost everyday at Cas en Bas (10 minutes from Blue Skies). The wind was nice and the water was warm. The beach is also great / safe for beginners to experts and has a nice restaurant to relax after kite surfing. Thanks again Simon and Francine.

The Only place to stay in St. Lucia!!
Blue Skies is a little piece of heaven! We will never even consider staying anywhere else in St. Lucia. Simon and Francine are two of the most wonderful people we have ever met. They are truly amazing hosts. The orientation that they provide is very helpful, and assisted us in getting our bearings and figuring out where everything was.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom for 3 weeks and had a marvelous time. We would not change a thing. The pool and hot tub are wonderfully refreshing, and most of the time we had them all to ourselves. The apartment is beautifully furnished and spotless. The location is far enough away from the town that you experience complete peace and quiet, yet close enough that you can walk to get your daily groceries. Ellie and Ziggy (the resident dogs) are friendly, entertaining, and a joy to have around. They would quite often come for a rest on our patio and keep us company.
Friday Night Jump Up is not to be missed! It is an experience beyond description. Simon and Francine accompanied us to the first one so that we felt comfortable. We returned the following Friday and had a blast!!
We have only been home for 4 days, but we already miss Blue Skies.

Wonderful Hosts, Great Accommodation!!!
We had the most wonderful time at Blue Skies. Like everyone else before us who's stayed there, our experience was truly fantastic. Simon and Francine, our hosts, went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one. Simon gave us a nice tour of the north of the island on our first day, provided our kids with pool and beach toys, etc. Thanks to their helpful tips and recommendations we met people and went to places that were truly amazing. Francine provided us with some breakfast essentials on arrival so we didn't have to worry about the next day's breakfast and took us to the local supermarket so we could buy some basics. They do care about their guests and want to ensure everyone has a great time. For example, we had problems getting money from the atm when we first arrived due to some pin related problems. Simon did not even blink when he learned about it and immediately offered to lend us some money until we could resolve the situation. They're very special people. What a difference from the staff you find at hotels and resorts. They make you feel almost as if you were family. Our kids (9 and 5) had a blast and love them. The 2 bedroom apartment is great, spacious, clean, is well-equipped. The pool is also very nice and clean. There're not enough words to describe and recommend Blue Skies. We'd definitely like to go back
