Amapola House is a three level, private vacation rental villa, located on a ocean view hillside near Sandy Beach in Rincon, Puerto Rico. Amapola House is a single vacation villa that offers total privacy and intimate comfort in a serene Caribbean setting.
Enjoy hillside breezes and stunning views from any of the three terrace levels at this brand-new vacation villa, which is located on the least-traveled beach access road and just minutes from the seashore.
To ensure that your visit is enjoyable from the very start, we offer VIP Concierge Service and a Welcome Pack that includes a complimentary bottle of fine wine in the wine cooler, plus rain forest coffee, gourmet cheese, specialty crackers and pure bottled water.
Amapola House offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a Starlight Veranda and a rooftop Sunset Terrace with a jumbo spa tub that overlooks a vast nature preserve and the sea, plus other many great amenities.
For larger families, an additional fourth bedroom suite is situated on its own level and offers a private bathroom and terrace.
The interior is designer-decorated and includes heirloom antiques and historic photos of Old Rincon.
Just minutes from the golden sand and pristine waters of Sandy Beach, this elegant Villa can comfortably accommodate an entire family or a large group of friends, up to eight persons. For larger groups, an adjacent twin home is also available.
VIP Services: Upon your arrival, you are personally met by our manager, who will give you a tour of the villa and show you all of our amenities and answer all your questions. You'll be provided with your own up-to-date guide books and our local newspaper that tells you all the places to go and everything that's happening during your stay.
Concierge: During your stay, our concierge will be available to assist you and provide you with customized optional services. Catered meals and other services can be furnished upon request. Upon checking out, our manager will be present to assist with your departure.

The main bathroom has glass sink, a tub and rain forest showerhead. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a large closet. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a large closet.
Activities
Rincon is the Surfing Capital of the Caribbean. Surf lessons are available. Dive our reef or take a day trip to Desecheo Island, a National Parks Wildlife Refuge, with its cobalt blue waters and thousands of marine species. Or just snorkel along our many shore reefs for awesome dives.
Golf at nearby Borinquen Golf Club, located only 25 minutes away from Amapola House. Activities in the area include casinos, clubs & salsa dancing.

Rates are subject to change without notice. Reservations require a 50% deposit. Deposits on cancellations made up to 15 days prior to arrival are refunded, minus a 15% cancellation fee. The minimum stay is three nights. A cleaning fee is charged for stays of less than seven nights. Rentals require a refundable $300 security/damage deposit, which is returned shortly after check-out. Reservations made online will be assigned a confirmation code, which you must have at check-in. Rental of Amapola House is exclusive to one party at a time. For more than six guests, an additional separate fourth bedroom suite is situated on its own level and offers a private bathroom and terrace for up to two additional guests. This suite is not rented separately and occasionally may be in use by the owners of the property. For larger parties, a adjacent twin home is available at similar rates.

About Amapola House
Amapola House stands on ancestral land that has been owned by the same family since the times of the Spanish Main. Amapola House contains a gallery of never-seen photographs of Old Rincon, going back several generations. It also contains heirloom antiques, including a mahogany and rock-glass mirror that has survived several generations. It was found under the old house. The mirror had been damaged by the ravages of time and prolonged exposure to the elements, but was carefully restored and placed in a prominent place at Amapola House.
The 1968 World Surfing Championship is a legendary landmark in surfing history. It was the first time that the short board was introduced in serious competition and it was the last time that surfers represented their country, instead of themselves and their corporate sponsors. The competition also put Rincon and its surfing beaches on the map; Rincon is now known as the Surf Capital of the Caribbean. Surfer Barry Church not only competed in this contest, he was commissioned by a surfing magazine to take pictures of the event, which are now considered of collection quality. Amapola House has the largest local private collection of Barry Church surfing photos, for the enjoyment of its guests, who can also enjoy viewing our personal rare copy of the digitally remastered ABC Network coverage of the 1968 World Surfing Championship.
