Built in what used to be a coconut grove, this 3 bedroom 2 bath unit with large balcony and partial ocean view is located in the outskirts of the San Juan metro area over looking the Atlantic Ocean. Accessible from San Juan through a scenic route following the ocean line or a modern expressway in the quiet town of Loiza. Away from the noise and hustle of the city but within minutes of shopping malls, Bahia Beach Golf Course, restaurants, and world-famous tourist attractions. Relax in the ample balcony listening to the soothing sound of the waves. We even provide you a hammock to relax under a coconut tree. So why pay for overpriced hotels and parking fees in busy tourist areas when you can have the same comforts from home at Malibu? 
 
Some of the most typical food in the island is found on the way to Malibu. If you are driving along the coastline (Pinones) you will find a number of kiosks with wood-burning open fires and large kettles specializing in seafood dishes such as crab meat and lobster tacos. Add a refreshing drink made of fresh coconut water to your dining experience. El Yunque National Forest, Luquillo's beautiful beaches, and much more within minutes of Loiza. You may also bike the most scenic and beautiful bicycle trail in the Pinones area - go to Paseo Pinones Trail for more information. 
 
Getting to Malibu is real easy-you don’t have to go through unfamiliar neighborhoods. Just turn from Hwy 187 towards the beach into a private entrance. 
 
The Malibu complex'gazebo, the perfectly manicured grounds and the availability of multiple units, some side by side, make Malibu the perfect location for a destination wedding or family reunion. 
 
35 minutes away catch the ferry to Culebra or Vieques-both islands famous for they very white sand beaches. Old San Juan is 20 min away, 35 min from Ron Bacardi distillery, 25 min from Fajardo Bio-luminescent Bay, 1.5 hours from the beautiful Camuy caves. While visiting the caves you must make a short detour to visit Arecibo Observatory where scenes from the Goldeneye-James Bond movie were filmed when 007 discovered a gigantic satellite dish which he had been told by the CIA that it did not exist. Well it does for real and it is in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. 
 
And right in the center of town in Loiza during the last week of July the locals celebrate the St. Jaime's Carnival, wearing colorful masks and costumes,while singing and dancing their traditional and contagious music. These Afro-Caribbean cultural trends have been beautifully and tastefully captured by the local artists, Samuel Lind and the Ayala family. Their respective homes and "taller" workshops are only steps from the Malibu gate. Loiza is also home to Iglesia San Patricio, which dates to 1670 and is the oldest church in continuous use in Puerto Rico. Tasty fresh crab (JUEYES) dishes can also be found through out the town of Loiza, the family owned/operated "El Parrilla" restaurant is among the best in the island.

We were the first guests at the condo.....and we really really liked the place. It's well furnished and has a nice location (easy to go to the rainforest; Luquillo beach or the ferry for the two smaller islands-Vieques and Culebra). The apartments are gated, have good parking..and a nice pool. Maria and her family are very professional in their dealings and we had a wonderful stay. We would be back...and also recommend the place to friends.
