This apartment is very private, overlooking the beautiful Mourne Rouge bay and its magnificent sunsets. It is up a flight of 10 steps from a private lane to the beach which leads to the Gem resort and is a no through road. There is a beach bar on the beach which serves food from 7.30 am till 11 pm. There are shops and supermarkets, in fact anything you could wish for including all watersports, on the close Grand Anse beach some 400metres away. There is also public transport here to all over the island although a jeep is recommended to make the most of the island. St Georges the capital, is 10 k away with its cruise ship terminal with duty free shops and many shops and restaurants.

There are many things to do on Grand Anse beach, snorkelling or boat trips, diving (5 star Padi centre), kayaking, windsurfing, hobi cat, and at nearby La Souce you can waterski as well. there is a nine hole golf course nearby and if required I can arrange for a local golf enthusiast to play a round or two for a small fee and show you around. There is a local festival every week "Fish Friday" in Gouyave where local caught and cooked fish is served in the streets to a carnival atmosphere. also, speaking of carnivals there is a n annual one, in August for 2/3 days which is very colourful.

You can visit the rainforests, lakes, waterfalls inland and also the local rum factory at Westerhall. here are many beaches all round the island and Sauters in the north is spectacular with views to the Grenadines. It is possible to take a ferry to nearby Carricou for the day and see this beautiful unspoilt island. There are sea fishing trips available and sailing also, with many marinas in Grenada.

There is internet access available wirelessly free at the bar of the nearby Owl and Flamboyant Hotel. The former is open almost all night and is 400 metres away. it has pool tables and a bar or you can sit on the beach and sip cocktails instead.

The apartment is self catering. There are double doors looking out onto the Bay / sandy beach, and private walled garden with garden furniture. A window looks out from the dining table (seats 4), to views across the Bay. The kitchen has fridge freezer, full cooker and hob. Also kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, iron. The living area has a double sofabed, under a ceiling fan and a flatscreen tv/dvd player, a cd player/cassette/radio. There is a selection of dvds/cds and a playstation 2 / games. The living area leads to bedroom with window overlooking garden. The bathroom leads off bedroom. There is a 4 piece bathroom suite with full bath and shower over. There is ample hot water. The bedroom has a large kingsize bed or 2 singles, with linen for both configurations. There is a large sofa suitable for a single bed. There is a chest of drawers and a small wall safe. In this room is a 2nd flatscreen tv/dvd player.

As above there is a 5 star Padi dive centre on Grand Anse beach as well as all watersports and golf very close.

I require a 30% deposit on booking with the balance paid 2 months before you travel, please. there is a jeep available to book with the apartment at a cost of £100 a week, it is an automatic Suzuki Escudo insured for all drivers over 25 yrs. please let me know if you would like to book it. It can then be left at the airport to collect for you and leave there when you leave.
