The east tower has a bedroom and bathroom on the lower level and kitchen, bathroom and sleeping loft on the second level. Open the windows in the sleeping loft that frame the treetop foliage and bask the room in cool breezes - perfect for a great night's sleep.
The west tower has a spacious living room at the second level, with large windows all around to bring the tropical vistas in.
Hand-crafted details grace every room. Lotus inspired wooden carvings arch over the glass patio doors which open onto the connecting balconies. Kitchen windows are framed below and at their sides by 3'lateral palm wood panels which emphasize the view. Bamboo slats accent the kitchen counter, bedroom closet, and shutters of the lower bedroom windows. Coconut shell buttons adorn the shower curtains, and driftwood spindles hold paper rolls in the bathrooms and kitchen. All the windows and doors can be opened wide, inviting the cooling ocean breeze and lovely tropical views inside.
The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cutlery, cookware and an espresso coffee maker. A large round wooden table and branch chairs can be moved to the balcony for el fresco dining under the thatched roof.
The living room has a bamboo couch and 2 easy chairs. A bamboo-framed, glass-topped coffee table and several other chairs provide comfortable seating.
The bedrooms have futon beds which can be folded up and used as daytime seating couches if preferred.
Artist's paintings and sculptures add to the unique decor, and provide interest to the backdrop of this tranquil setting.
This serene getaway is a mere 100 meters from a gorgeous golden sand beach which stretches for miles in both directions. The lot has 2300 m2 and is bordered at the front by a village road which provides a path to the main street, 500 meters to the east. Pedestrians share it with a few vehicles, motorcycles or cattle + chickens which make up the local traffic.
If you want to leave the rat race behind and spend some quality time in the natural setting of this peaceful place, you may fall into the age-old pace of rising with the sun and heading for bed when it gets dark. Beware, you may fall in love and never want to leave!
