Vacation Rental Description
Completely self-contained apartment in the residential/resort area of Sunset Crest. With a private entrance on ground level, through a very pretty little porch, and double doors. It is suitable for the mildly disabled - access from outside is easy for wheelchairs, but the bedrooms doors are only standard width, the bathroom doors are quite narrow, and there is a 4 inch step down into the kitchen, so some mobility is necessary. The two bedrooms, both with en suite shower rooms, have comfortable beds [one queen and one king/twin] and attractive decor. There are two private gardens with loungers, one facing east and one facing west, so that sun or shade can be had throughout the day. In the garden, are coconut palms and hibiscus, frangipani and other tropical plants, and lights make it pretty at night. The covered veranda provides a place for al fresco dining. Local amenities are good and are all within 5 or 10 minutes walking distance, including the beaches of Holetown, and the Sunset Crest Resort pool. An entry card is provided with this accommodation to acess the pool at The Beach Club, where there is a bar and restaurant. this card also serves as a discount card in some local stores.
Facilities
Hairdryers in both bedrooms, an iron and ironing board are provided, as well as beach towels. Maid service is twice weekly, and there is also a washer available for occasional use by arrangement with the management.
Activities
There are aquatic marine life parks and a small wildlife reserve, a good choice of restaurants and shops, including some duty free shops, and there any number of land and sea excursions available. Local transportation by bus or taxi is good, and car rental is another option. Water sport rentals are readily available on nearby beaches, and the tennis courts are just 5 minutes walk away. Organised hiking tends to be a weekend activity, but the nearby Sandy Lane golf course provides walkways for jogging or walking in lovely surroundings.

The non-refundable deposit of 20% minimum or at least 2 nights [whichever is greater] can be paid with Visa or Mastercard. Balances are due 8 weeks prior to arrival and are refunded on a pro-rata basis, but cancellations within 7 days of arrival date are totally forfeit. During the summer months [May through September] there are special rates for 1 or 2 persons, occupying 1 room only, which are approximately 55% of the usual rates. All rates are exclusive of AC which is an optional extra @ USD12 per day per unit.

A two bedroom property with en suite shower rooms. A private garden provides peace for sunbathing. Just a short walk away there is the community pool, beaches, shops and restaurants. the lounge has an overhead fan and cable television. There is a fully equipped kitchen, and dining is al fresco on the pretty covered veranda. Your stay at Demerara Cottage will be comfortable, convenient and reasonably priced. Both bedrooms have AC available as an optional extra.
