The villa exceeded my expectations! It was clean, decorated with very good taste and large enough for 8 people. The only thing is that it is a little bit hard to find it if you are not familiar with the island. I made the suggestion to the owner to meet the travellers at the Texaco near by to take them to the villa.
It is near the beaches (10 minute drive by car), near the Super centre were you can find all you need. There is a bar/restaurant on the beach in front of the Super centre were you can enjoy the Happy hour from 4h30 to 5h30 and many activities are offered on the beach.
I recommand the Karaoke night in First street on Sunday night and the Fish fry on Friday night in Oistins. You should also take a ride on the yellow busses, it's an experience by itself!
Definitly my best ever holidays!

Being a part of a wedding party of 9 people, Harpers Villa was the perfect fit for us. Some were only able to make it for three days of a six day semi-semi-vacation by real vacation standards, but at the Harpers Villa the feeling of being at home didn't take more than a few hours once we got past the process of being familiar with the way things work. Even though we are a family of togetherness the atmosphere of simplicity and ease existed to allow each of us to have individuality as a couple and as a portion of the family when necessary.
The customer service was prompt when we had any requests, and at the same time not existent when we did Not have a need for service. We felt nevertheless comfortable knowing that service was available for whatever needs we had.
For us it was our second visit to the Island so we had an idea what to look for and where to find it most of the time. We enjoy Cooking, and Dining-in/at home more than going to the restaurants, for there is really a wide variety of fruits, ground provisions, fish, lots of coconut water to keep the body cool in the Sun's heat, and much more to satisfy our vegetarian or meat eating regimen. We went to one restaurant called, "DAPHNES" that provided very good service, and had lots of variety for a our group. Except for the beach, and some shopping we did not have enough time to explore the multiple attractions and activities this visit. We are looking forward for the next time.
All in all the listing description was accurate regarding the layout, facilities, as well as the property was clean and well maintained. As for the location, even though perched on a hill overlooking the tranquil waters and westerly Views Harpers' Villa is a secret that should be known and experienced by all who can keep secrets to preserve serenity for the serene.
The only complain that family members had was the fact that they did not like the fact that they had to pay $1.99 per minute to call back home, or to make local calls. The remedy for this we found to be purchasing a chip with enough minutes that can be used with an unlocked phone from the local store that sells phones.
