This gorgeous one bedroom self-catering apartment in the charming central south coast village of Rockley is an ideal home away from home - you will enjoy all the comforts of home while living in the midst of paradise in Barbados!

Set on the beautifully landscaped grounds of a traditional old Bajan family home, this newly renovated self contained apartment/cottage is extremely spacious (700 sq feet) and securely gated with a lovely breezy private patio and lush tropical gardens. Literally a few minutes walk down to the gorgeous Accra (Rockley) beach, numerous shops, restaurants, pubs, nightlife and the popular Quayside Mall. The cottage interior is tastefully furnished and has all amenities including air conditioned bedroom with queen bed and en-suite bathroom, wireless internet, fully outfitted full-size kitchen, Sony 21' colour TV with comprehensive cable package, stereo, telephone, private parking and twice weekly maid service.

A detailed information package regarding all local activities is also provided in the apartment to help you make the most of your holiday. This self-catering property has all the conveniences of home and comes with pretty much everything you will need for a most enjoyable stay in beautiful Barbados!

The Historic Garrison Savannah district is 5 mins drive and includes George Washington House, the Barbados Museum, & the Savannah where there is international horse racing & other local festivals!

The famous St. Lawrence Gap is party-central and is 5 minutes by car and is brimming with restaurants, pubs, live shows, and other night-life! You may also want to visit the town of Oistins for the famous Friday Night Fish-Fry where you can have a rum with the locals in a very relaxed setting... The new South Coast Boardwalk is just a few mins walk from the cottage and is perfect for a leisurely afternoon stroll!

This is our 2nd visit to this idyllic spot in Barbados. As we found last year, the accommodation is everything as described.If you are thinking about visiting Barbados, we guarantee you will not be disappointed with this accommodation. Added to this, the charming hosts, make you feel very welcome, as do the people of Barbados, wherever you go. You are minutes from all amenities, but at the same time in a peaceful location. We travelled all over on the local transport, which is excellent value and good fun! Fabulous beaches and crystal waters, what more could you want? As you can tell, this holiday rental comes highly recommended!

This was the perfect place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Carefully selected from its description, Newstead Cottage lived up to expectation and more. Its facilities and our thoughtful hosts from the welcome jug of cool water on arrival, delicious warm banana bread and car hire booking made for a thoroughly relaxing and comfortable stay. Sitting on the patio with its beautiful garden vista, watching the wildlife and listening to the whistling frogs while sipping rum on the rocks was heaven!
Perfectly positioned for the stunning Accra beach and boardwalk, restaurants and public transport. For us it was the opportunity for chilling or 'limin', walking along the beach and boardwalk (and yes it really is like the adverts) passing the time of day with friendly locals but above all having the opportunity to stay and return to Newstead each day that made our holiday so enjoyable. There would be no hesitation in recommending Newstead to others!
