Welcome to Salina Point Inn Bonefish Lodge! A breezy, attractive lodge located on a pristine, secluded, white sand beach at Salina Point Acklins, Bahamas. The bight of Acklins is an excellent location for wading sizable bonefish. The lodge sits on a wadeable flat.
The accommodation is really nice, making this the obvious choice for couples wanting to experience the incredible fishing on Acklins Bahamas. Salina Point Inn Bonefish Lodge is a hideaway in every sense of the word! We would love to cater to your fishing parties and your vacation groups. There is no roughing it here! Five large guest rooms, with queen beds! Our ten Acres of unspoiled loveliness await your visit as we indulge you only as Acklins Islanders could.
Salina Point Inn Bonefish Lodge is Acklins Island newest lodge, sitting next to a lovely flat, on a pristine beach. The view is spectacular! The Beach Front large bedroom has two queen beds, with its own bath and is air conditioned, with a ceiling fan. We have four more rooms available, please contact us for details.
There is a spacious main dinning room at Salina Point Inn Bonefish Lodge, where your meals will be served, a bar and a large deck. After fishing and a shower, you can relax, while taking in the view with a drink. Dinner is Bahamian style and served between 7:00 and 7:30 pm. Our cooks specialize in fresh seafood. The bar is fully stocked, offering beer, wine and liquor.

Fishing: While at Salina Point Bonefishing Lodge, your principal fishing areas will include the middle and southern end of Acklins Island. An incredible bonefish habitat, with miles of flats, mangroves and creek systems lining the shoreline. You will find schools of bonefish as well as single larger bonefish. Many of the flats are easily wadeable and present anglers with great opportunities for casting to shallow water tailing bonefish. There is also a variety of other species including barracuda, triggerfish, sharks, jacks and snapper. Salina Point is a great place if you are looking for a variety of fish to catch on the flats.
Salina Point Lodge offers our anglers, on a seven (7) days program, the option of Do-It-Yourself wade fishing fully guided fishing, from a boat. For the Do-It-Yourself enthusiasts, you will be given helpful pointers, on where to go and how to catch these wonderful flats fish and a take along lunch. You will have use of a vehicle, kayak, or be dropped off and picked up by a Salina Point staff member. There will also be locations only reachable by boat, in which case you will be shuttled by boat to these locations.
The fishing program here is very diverse – each day anglers will be fishing a different piece of water, always seeing new flats and creek systems. There is also an excellent flat right in front of the lodge with bonefish, triggerfish and barracuda only a cast away.
The bight of Acklins is more than 1000 square miles of shallow water. This is one of the largest area of bonefish-flats in the Bahamas. Exploring this system of flats, creeks, channels and mangrove marls could take a lifetime.
There are two flights on Bahamasair into Acklins Island each week. These flights are on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Plan to spend the night in Nassau the day before travel into Acklins. Additionally,Pineapple Air, now provides two flights weekly into Ackins on Mondays and Fridays. There are now four flights per week!!!!
Please leave plenty of time between connections, especially on your return flight. Make sure you are booked into Spring Point, Acklins and that you exit the plane on Acklins Island as the flight serves more than one destination.
