The Reef House is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, oceanfront cottage located at Bahama Palm Shores, Abaco, Bahamas. The cottage is aptly named because it is in swimming distance of a series of reefs that calm the ocean before the waves hit the beach, making it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, fishing, or just gazing at the beautiful view.

The spacious cottage is fully equipped; has a great room with cathedral ceilings, a complete kitchen, dining, and living area that opens to a screened porch overlooking the ocean. There are two queen bedrooms with adjoining baths downstairs, and two large loft bedrooms that are easily accessible by stairs. The cottage has a TV,VCR,DVD,CD, WiFi
Internet, and Vontage phone with free calls to the States. A 10' dinghy, 8' raft, and kayak are furnished for our guests.

Abaco Island is less than 220 miles due east of Florida, and Marsh Harbour, Abaco has an international airport served by several major U.S. airlines, as well as numerous Floridian and Bahamian airlines.

The Reef House is located about 19 miles south of Marsh Harbour, and we will provide a map with directions.
The best way to get to the cottage is to rent a car at the airport in Marsh Harbour, (about $350/week). You then have the pleasure of your own private beach cottage, yet have the ability to explore the entire island of Abaco.
Abaco is about 120 miles long, and varies from little fishing villages to plush resorts. The island is known to be one of the "family islands", and there are no casinos or gambling.

The rent is $1600 USD per week,(7 nights), and $200 for each additional night. We do not rent less than a week at the time. If you wish to make reserevations, contact Bill or Helen Rawls:

There are fishing guides available for bonefishing, reef fishing and deep sea fishing.
There are also guides who will taking you island hopping, snorkeling at the underwater parks,
or most anywhere on the Sea of Abaco.

The Reef House is located in a sparsely populated neighborhood on a gorgeous 8 mile stretch of beach. The ocean is usually calm, and perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and fishing from the beach. An 10' dinghy, an 8' inflatable raft and 2 person kayak are furnished for our guests. Most restaurants and shops are in Marsh Harbour, and scattered around Abaco in the various villages and the outer cays. Guides are available for fishing, or exploring the underwater parks. If you rent a car, you can explore the entire island, including blue holes, wild horses, isolated fishing villages and communities. Boats are also available to rent by the day or week in Marsh Harbour,
which allows you to explore the Sea of Abaco and the outer cays, like Elbow Cay, Man-O-War,and Guana.
There is much to do on Abaco, but it is nice to come home to your "own" private paradise at the Reef House.

the Reef House rents for $1600 per week, (7 nights)$200 for each additional night. $600 is required to reserve a time period, and the balance will be due 1 week before you arrive. This deposit is non-refundable. In case of an emergency cancellation, and attempt will be made to rent the house to another party, and if it is rented the $600 will be refunded. Personal checks, or with banks out of the U.S., certified bank checks are acceptable.
