Vacation Rental Description
Hamilton House stands at the back of the Estate behind the villas and comprises four well-appointed 2-bedroom apartments. An external stairway at the rear of the building provides access to the top floor. The long open-plan reception area of each apartment includes a fully-equipped kitchen and plenty of space for comfortable everyday living. An open arch leads to an inner hall accessing the bedrooms and bathrooms. The apartments benefit from spacious, covered veranda areas that enjoy superb views of the tropical gardens and towards the Caribbean. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. A French door leads directly on to the veranda and can be secured open during the day to take full advantage of the cooling breezes and glorious sunshine. The guest bedroom is also adjoined by a fully-fitted bathroom.
The kitchen area of the main living room is fully fitted with a range of base and wall units and includes a stove with oven and hob and an American style refrigerator. Internal floors are covered with ceramic tiles whilst the veranda is finished with wooden decking. Ceiling fans and air conditioning units are fitted in both of the bedrooms and the living area. Each apartment is serviced with cable television, DVD player, hi-fi, DVD and CD libraries, and high-speed Internet connection.
The landscaped gardens feature a large swimming pool with adjoining sundeck, as well as a barbeque area.
Facilities
The apartment is part of an exclusive development of just 4 apartments (2 ground, 2 upper) and 3 villas. It offers 2 en-suite bedrooms which sleep 4 and there is a sofa bed in the lounge There is a long open plan lounge/reception area with kitchen and French doors to allow access to the large veranda area. The landscaped gardens feature a large swimming pool with adjoining sundeck. This is exclusively for the 4 apartments. The entrance to Jolly Harbour Marina and resort is just a few minutes walk. This extensive complex offers the largest and finest marina in the Caribbean and a fine 18-hole golf course. There are a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars, and a supermarket. Our apartment is close to one of the best beaches in the world! Antigua is renowned for its 365 stunning beaches and miles of picturesque coves. There is a great selection of restaurants within easy reach. Many of these are by the sea and have stunning views.
Activities
Cricket is a passion in Antigua. If you are a cricket fan you must visit the new Sir Viv Richards Stadium or The Stickey Wicket West Indies Cricket Hall of Fame.
The other passion is Sailing! For sailing enthusiasts try and catch Antigua Sailing Week or the Antigua Classic Yacht Race. Other aquatic sports include diving and snorkeling. Crystal clear waters ensure this is an amazing experience.
If you like to party there is plenty to do in Antigua. Loads of live music and if you can make it for Carnival then you are in for a real treat. Make sure you go to Shirley Heights Look Out (Nr English Harbour) for great Steelband & Reggae entertainment along with an open air Barbeque.

Payments can be made in UK Sterling, US Dollars or East Caribbean Dollars. We accept payments by UK Sterling Cheques, Credit Cards or Bank Transfer. Booking notes 1. A booking deposit of 20% of the total rental price is payable when returning the booking form to us. 2. The balance of the total rental price is due 60 days before arrival. 3. A full copy of our booking terms and conditions is sent with the booking form. We can offer a discount for payments made in US$ by bank transfer direct to our account in Antigua (We can then use these funds towards our running costs!)
