Vacation Rental Description
La Maison Lafleur is a wonderful stone Townhouse in the center of Montreal, located on a charming quiet tree lined street of historic houses. It is just a half block from one of the Berri/UQAM metro station entrances, making all of Montreal accessable. The house was completely remodeled when I purchased it 3 years ago and is therefore, very clean and comfortable. It is ideally located, just a ten minute walk to Old Montreal and the trendy Plateau neighborhood, with restaurants, shops and services just a few blocks away in every direction. It was lovingly restored and is filled with interesting antique furniture. On the first floor it has a large living room with comfortable queen sleeper couch, a dining room and a fully equiped kitchen as well as a half bathroom. The second floor is one spacious bedroom with an office area and a full bath with washer and dryer. There are four balconies and a sweet back yard garden. The street it is located on is only two blocks long and has access from only one end. It feels like a quiet oasis in what is literally the Center of Montreal. What people seem to like most, besides the location, is that it has the warmth and charm of a home, not a vacation rental.

La Maison LaFleur is located adjacent to the beginning of the Montreal bike path that passes through Old Montreal and on to the Lachine Canal bike path, which follows the St. Laurence River for many miles. There is a small park directly across the street and the large LaFontaine park is just a few blocks away. The house is ideally located for shopping, restaurants and other activities found in Old Montreal and the Plateau. There are grocery stores conveniently located at both ends of the street and it's proximity to the Berri/UQAM Metro station makes all of Montreal very convenient to get to.
