Vacation Rental Description
Home away from your home. The whole building is yours (2 stories) for $100 to $145/ per night or $700 to $850/per week (Seasonal rates) . Charming, completely remodelled house with central air-conditioning and free private parking.
Located at the centre of “L’ île de Montreal”, 2 steps from the metro, 10 minutes away from downtown Montreal.
Discount car and truck rental also two steps from our home. Supermarket, restaurants and shopping mall are near our house.
2 appartments in the ground floor including: living room and kitchen dining room (all equipped) are on the main floor (open area).Each unit has free access to a laundry .
In the summer, a flowered garden and a private terrace for each unit.
On each superior floor: a room with 2 single beds, baby bassinet and chair, a room with a queen size bed, a bathroom with a shower/bath, Internet high-speed wireless and a telephone with free local calls.

After a five hours car ride, a plane trip(which was delayed) and then another 8 hour flight, we finally arrived at Maison aux Pignons... It took us about 17 hours and appros. 10,000 kms to arrive back in Canada! And what a pleasant surprise when we got here... we felt like we were at home(even though home is 5,000 kms away). We spent 3 weeks vacation in Europe, but now that we are in Montreal, it truely feels like a vacation. Your home and garden are lovely. Thank you for accommodating us and our 7 month old son. We came from Poland to Montreal to visit family and soon we will be on our way home to Vancouver, B.C. However we will definitely return and be happy to stay here again. I came to Montreal from Fiji really not knowing what to expect but saw Lucie and Guy's friendly face and the warmth of this place. It was overwhelming! "home sweet home"
My spouse & I were between houses and we stayed at Maison des Pignons for 4 months. The moment we moved in, we felt we were on a country holiday,thanks largely to the most hospitable hosts you would hope to find, they went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay the most comfortable and memorable.
If you happen to be there in the spring and summer, you will have the chance to enjoy the most beautiful garden you have ever seen. We would highly recommend this place, long or short term. Thank you Guy and Lucie

"A most charming place"
This vacation rental is extremely well maintained, quite affordable and it offers a typical "Quebecois" friendly atmosphere.. Can accomodate comfortably 4 people. Also very well-equipped for longer stays.

"A true home away from home"
The house was kept immaculately clean, much cleaner than a hotel and I am quite fussy when it comes to clean. Guy was friendly and helpful and kept the walk and driveway shovelled even though it was a bitterly cold weekend. We were especially surprised by the attention given to amenities and appointments; there were a variety of pots, pans and dishes. So much so, that we were comfortably able cook and even entertain guests. It is even close to a Metro so no need to go through the hassle of driving and parking. We strong recommend staying here and certainly will whenever we find ourselves in Montreal.

"Enchanting stay in Montreal"
Comfortable and very clean house. The communication with the owner was exemplary (informative and courteous). The check in and check out process was worry free. The house suited our needs (two adults, two children) and we had an excellent holiday in Montreal.

VERY WARM, VERY CLEAN"

Our stay is almost three months to the Maison aux pignons has been a
haven of peace in a turbulent period. The children enjoyed the BBQ and
terrace. The proximity of the metro was very helpful. Cleanliness was
exemplary (dzienkuje Mira!). The owners, Guy and Lucie, were always
available to answer all our needs. The air conditioning was perfect. The
garden is a beauty, lovingly cared for, a true oasis in the city. The
parking was also very convenient. We met with other tenants of the house
that have succeeded during our long stay, people from France, Belgium
and elsewhere, and it was very nice. Thank you to Lucie and Guy for
their efforts and their attention
