Vacation Rental Description
Furnished holiday home with swimming pool, located on 9 acres overlooking meadows, river and wooded valley, with wild-flowers, birds and wildlife - a haven for nature lovers! The holiday home has two double bedrooms, fully equipped modern kitchen and full bathroom. Living room has ample seating, dining area, fire-place, sofa-bed and patio doors to garden.
We have recently installed a 24' swimming pool for our guests to enjoy during the hot summer months and a 7-person jacuzzi hot tub for year-round use.
We have a river where you can fish - we supply the fishing rods & tackle, we also have some small, farm animals here - our baby pygmy goats are adorable!
AMENITIES & SERVICES
Our holiday home sleeps 6 people
Bedroom one has Queen size bed and doors out to the patio; bedroom two has a double bunk bed (single bed on top, double below) and also a single bed, there is also a toddler bed available; the living room has a fireplace, dining area, lounge area and doors to patio.
Fully equipped, modern kitchen and bathroom, patio with gas barbecue, table and chairs. A highchair and play-pen are available upon request.
There is a TV, DVD player, a selection of board games and small library of books for those quiet evenings in front of the fireplace!
* Spring is usually mild.
* Summers can be hot and with very little rain.
* Autumn is usually warm and sunny with cool evenings. If you are planning an Autumn holiday in Canada, this area enjoys some of the most beautiful Fall colours that you will ever see!
* Winters in this part of Canada are crisp and cold with lots of snow for winter outdoor activities.
The apartment is rented from 4pm Saturday to 11am Saturday. All bed-linen, towels and beach towels are provided.

"My family, complete with 4 children, had a fantastic and very comfortable week at Sunnybrook Farm in November 2010, and highly recommend it. It is in a peaceful country location, well away from busy roads. London is an easy 15 minute drive, a visit to a London Knights game is highly recommended! Port Stanley (about half an hour away), where the sunset over Lake Erie was one of the most beautiful we've ever seen. St Thomas itself is a pretty little community, with a convenient Wal-mart and good size mall. The apartment itself was immaculate and slept 6 easily, our hosts were kind and considerate. All in all, I cannot praise Sunnybrook and our Hosts enough. I would definitely reccommend this lovely apartment . Five stars all the way!"

Facilities
The holiday home is fully air conditioned, has parking for three cars, has central heating and also a fireplace for a cozy wood fire on those cool Autumn evenings. The living room has satellite TV, the master bedroom has TV with a DVD player, and the second bedroom has TV with a VCR. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen with microwave, oven, fridge, coffee maker, toasted sandwich maker, slow-cooker, waffle maker, and we supply our week-long guests with start-up groceries (coffee, tea, sugar, milk, eggs, butter, cheese and bread) In 2008, we installed a 24' swimming pool for our guests to enjoy during the hot summer months, and we also have a Jacuzzi hot-tub for our visitors to enjoy all year round. We have a small river where our guests can fish, and walking trails beside the river, also miles of hiking trails are accessible nearby.
Activities
There are 17 Public and Semi-Private Golf courses within a 30 minute drive of St Thomas, and we are located just 15 minutes from the clean sandy beaches on Lake Erie's north shore.
Within minutes you can hike or canoe amid some of the last remaining Carolinian forest in Ontario. Hiking trails are well marked and take walkers through the beautiful Southern Ontario forests - a Guide can be arranged for you if required.
The London Ski Club is less than 30 minutes away and has facilities for the beginner skiier as well as those who are more experienced.
Several Horseback riding stables are nearby and Riding Lessons are available as well as Trail Rides for the experienced and beginner.
