Experience the Ontario wilderness in the quiet splendour of the Pickerel River System: Fish, boat, canoe, swim in different lakes, hear the piercing cry of the loon, watch the beaver, moose or a white-tailed deer. Make your holiday a magic memory. Enjoy Flight seeing tours, Excursions to Georgian Bay, Algonquin National Park etc.
The historical Old Mirror Lodge (1921) is the perfect “get away” to go fishing and relaxing in a most pristine surrounding. The four cottages are located directly on Toad Lake.
The Pickerel River System with its 45 miles of waterways offers you lots of opportunities to make a great catch! From our location you can reach Duck Lake, Dollar Lake, Wilson Lake and Little Long Lake. You may even portage into Arthur Lake – good fishing for bass & pike!
Our lodge is only 4 hours away from Toronto, route 522.
You can reach us by bus (we’ll pick you up from the bus station: Trout Creek or Key River). Or if you come by car you get a free parking lot on Maple Drive, from where we’ll pick you up by water taxi /pontoon.
A boat with motor is included in your All Inclusive/Housekeeping-Package It will allow you to discover the 70 km waterways!
