Our quiet family campground is nestled in the trees on the east shore of Lower Buckhorn Lake. Our sites are spacious and well shaded. We welcome all types of campers from tents to RVs. With a western exposure and a scenic lookout (80 ft. over the bay) you can't help but experience the most magnificent sunsets.

We are located less than 30 minutes from Peterborough, Ontario where you will find something for everyone. Shopping, cinemas, a free Zoo, and many varieties of restaurant. The Kawartha Lakes are known for top quality boating, canoeing and kayaking. There are numerous golf courses within 10 - 30 minutes of the campground. Peterborough is also the home of the world's largest Lift Lock.

Tumble Dryer, Open Fire, Washing Machine

Each of our sites is equipped with a fire pit and picnic table, for your convenience. We have a small convenience store with Ice, milk, bread, snacks, ice cream and fishing worms. We have some lovely walking trails including our scenic trail that ends at a 80 foot lookout over the bay. The view is breathtaking. Our beach is a safe swimming area for all ages and is adjacent to our children's playground. We also have docking available for boats up to 18 feet.

Low Season Price : $225 High Season Price : $225 per Week
We accept reservations with a major credit card only. No charges are put through at the time of reservation but our cancellation policy is: NC if cancelled with 72 hours or more notice, less than 72 hours notice full charges apply.
