A Moonlight Beach Inn is conveniently located just 1/2 from Halifax, the Historic Capital City of Nova Scotia. While it is an ideal central location for visiting the city and taking daily sight-seeing trips to other areas of the Province...it is important to note that it is not in the middle of a highly developed commercial area surrounded by condos and hotels, but instead it is situated on a private laneway with only 3 other homes. Surrounding this enclave are hundreds of acres of spectacular, unspoiled & protected coastal scenery with miles of walking/cycling trails along the dunes, up onto clifftops and of course, along the beach and the 2 nearby lakes.

Enjoying nature is the most common reason that people come here. Relaxing on the beach, building sand castles, swimming, surfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding, walking, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, birdwatching, whale, dolphin & seal watching from shore...

Then there is the city life, just 1/2 hour away. With dining, shopping, theatres, museums, art galleries & local cultural events.

We also welcome extended families or friends for small weddings, reunions or get-togethers to rent the entire B&B. This option allows you full use of the main kitchen, as well. If you are planning this type of event, please contact us early for the best selection of dates available.
