Vacation Rental Description
Nestled on 50 acres with 2000 feet of beach are 4 cottages. Tranquility, Serenity, Felicity and Solace, their names say it all. Awaken to spectacular sunrises and the melody of birds. At night drift off to sleep to the sound of waves washing on shore. 
Our fully equipped, self catering cottages are roomy but cosy with propane fireplaces. Sit on your deck to watch porpoise & seals play in the bay or birds, bunnies, and occasionally deer play in the wood. Go fishing (lake - small mouth bass or wharf - mackeral, pollock) than Bar BQ your catch on your furnished deck. Go beachcombing, swimming, rock hounding, whale watching, birding, golfing, hiking, have a beach bonfire, read a book, star gaze, or just relax watching the tide rise and fall 27 feet. Saint Mary's Bay is feed by the famous Bay of Fundy. 
Leave a smaller footprint on your next vacation. Go green. The cottages offer all the comforts of home without conventional power. Each cottage has it's own generator that is started from inside. The fridge, stove/oven, hot water, and fireplace are all operated by propane. The cottages are equipped with running water, lights, ceiling fans, toaster, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker. Just push a button and there is lots of power. There is an iron at the office if you need it. There is also an inverter if a power source is needed all night. Just let us know. The generators are filled each day. Candles and flashlights are also provided. Some of our guests like to challenge themselves as to how little they need to run the generator. There are no TVs but books and family games are provided.  
We are a secluded property with the cottages isolated from each other. Each cottage has breath taking views of Digby Neck, Saint Mary's Bay, and mainland Nova Scotia.

    • Each cottage has a gas Bar BQ on the deck. All linens and towels are provided. All dishes, pots & pans, Bar BQ utensils, and plastic dishes for picnics are provided. Wood for beach bonfires is also provided. Bonfires are not permitted at the cottages.

    • Digby Neck, Long Island & Brier Island are located in the heart of whale watching. There are many whale watching companies. Be adventurous go whale watching in a zodiac or choose a more conventionial boat. Also see the sea birds and dolphins. You will find hiking trails, look-offs, and geocashing has serval locations for you to find. You can sit and eat at the restaurants or eat at one of the many picnic areas. Fishing off the many wharves (piers) is always a fun time.  
    Digby a drive of 25 km. has a world class golf course, Digby Pines Golf Course. Digby also has different night clubs, restaurants, shopping (Frenchy's is a must), walk down to the wharf or along the board walk.  
    Nova Soctia's largest theme park is located just a 35 minute drive away. Connected to the theme park is the wildlife park.

    • Travel Info: We are half way down the long peninsula known as "Digby Neck". We have the Bay of Fundy on one side of us and Saint Mary's Bay on the other. There are 2 islands just off the western tip of Digby Neck offering the best whale watching. You can reach us by car on Highway 101 through Annapolis Valley. You can also come to Digby from Saint John, New Brunswick, on the Princess Acadia (Bay Ferries).
