Vacation Rental Description
Experience Your Cabot Trail Adventure at Cabot Shores
Cabot Shores is your Wilderness Resort and Spa on the Cabot Trail of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.

You have at once an adventure destination (you really don’t have to leave) because you’re on the Atlantic, with a 2007 foot beach, bordering freshwater Church Pond, and on the south, Indian Brook, and a jump-off spot for the Cabot Trail and the rest of Cape Breton Island.

Canoing, kayaking and hiking in our nature sanctuary are what folks like to do, as well as to eat fresh seafood and local vegetables from our garden and other food from the area.
Cabot Shores is a gathering place for special events like family and friend reunions, anniversaries, weddings, fundraisers and business meetings.

It is also a gathering for our Wabanaki (First Nation, Native American) Festival in June, and Lobsterpalooza festival going from May-July; a blueberry festival in August; a hiking festival in September and most famous, the Celtic Colours in October with 10 nights of Celtic music and days of foliage.

There's also a protected, sandy and public beach at Little River, near where the lobster boats come in. In terms of services, the chalets and a budget guesthouse each have kitchens with full cooking facilities: range and oven, microwave, refrigerator, cutlery. The Lodge has coin operated washers and dryers. There's also a big Great Room with a woodstove/hearth and concert hall and art gallery. Downstairs is a meeting room, with a fire place and a pool table. There is a nature sanctuary on the property where you can pick rasperries, blackberries and blueberries. In August, down the road, is a blueberry festival.
