Vacation Rental Description
All season pine home on the outskirts of Saint Peters, which is the canal gateway between the Bras d'or lakes and the Atlantic. It is less than a mile from all the ameneties you could want in the pretty town of Saint Peters, yet snuggled cosily in the country side. Why not try one of the 3 restaurants, and that does'nt include the Tim Hortons. The cottage sits in 4.5 acres of lawned and mixed tree land, and has the bonus of a 600 foot, gently slopeing, beach on the Bras d'or lake itself (the trout fishing is outstanding).
It has a large garage for the storage of jetskies, snow mobiles, boats, etc (a new canoe and life jackets are available).
The home has an open concept living/dining/kitchen, which makes for a very airy, cosy atmosphere, helped by the total pine construction of the whole house, and the roomy loft second bedroom/recreation room. The living room has a very comfotable hideabed for sleeping 2 extra adults.
It sits 15 minutes from a beautiful 2 mile long fine sandy beach, famouse for its surfing, and 35 minutes from Ben Eoin Ski resort.
The Bras d'or lakes are regarded as some of the best, and safest boating waters in the world, and the water is like bathwater from late June through September.
