Vacation Rental Description

A 'home away from home' in Baddeck, the heart of Capen Breton Island, where any spot on the island is not more than 90 minutes away. McIntyre's Cottages and Cameron House is a relaxing spot to come home to after daytripping around the island. Drive the Cabot Trail, visit the Fortress of Louisbourg, spend the day at the beach, hike the highlands, fish the lakes, take a boat tour and then come home, put your feet up on the railing and enjoy a cold drink while the steaks sizzle on the your barbecue. All this while you gaze at the panoramic view of the Bras d'or Lakes. A piece of heaven. Some units have A/C and one one bedroom cottage has a whirlpool tub.
And when the weather is chilly, curl up inside in front of the propane fireplace. We are perfectly suited to a one night, or a weeks stay. Come homoe just to sleep or never leave the cottage.
Cameron House is a four star property that has some extra amenities. A full kitchen (including dishwasher and ice maker) looks out to the dining and livng area with a built in entertainment centre (cable tv, dvd and cd)and has internet hookup. It comes with air conditioning, laundry room, whirlpool tub, 2 and 1/2 baths, propane barbeque, propane fireplace, a screened porch, an open veranda, an upper balcony, has 3 bedrooms and a sleeping loft (sleeps 8).
