Vacation Rental Description

The Coves was built by the Bursey family who arrived from Devon in the early 1900's. The Bursey's chose this beautiful piece of land with 5 coves and 2 islands and they became successful fishers on Change Islands. Change islands is an hour drive from Gander. The car ferry to Change Islands is 20 minutes. The Change Islands historically
serviced the many fishing schooners sailing to and from Labrador.

The two islands which comprise Change Islands are connected by a small one-lane bridge that spans the pretty tickle that runs between the islands. There are 4 small shops on Change Islands for groceries and other supplies. There are 2 restaurants and an inn on the islands.

We have chosen to rent our home to guests who are looking for beauty, simple comforts and privacy by the sea. There are friendly spirits there. The Change Islanders are friendly and helpful. You will enjoy your visit. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Activities

Wonderful hiking on several trails throughout Change Islands. There is also an interpretation centre, fishermen's museum, and a second small museum on the Islands.

Rental Rates

				Season Rate
				Low Season Price:	$1,300 per Week
				High Season Price:	$1,300 per Week

Your booking will be confirmed with a $300 non-refundable deposit. The weekly rate of $1,200 is subject to 13% HST (tax). A refundable security deposit of $400 is required with your remaining payment which is due 6 weeks prior to your arrival. As the majority of our guests book some months in advance our cancellation policy will return your final payment + security deposit if you cancel up to 4 weeks prior to your arrival. Payments can be made through rank draft or through bank transfer + bank service charges.
