Very Nice, New, Quiet and Charming

Great location, very nice neighbor hood, felt like home. The place is all brand new , with excellent features! It has 2baths and 2bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bath, as well as a little kitchen! My party had 3males in it, we all had our own bed, plenty of room for everyone! The kitchen is very updated, all the appliances are very very nice. The hardwood floors throughout the place is a very nice touch! I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat! I would recommend it to a family with kids, a couple, a few friends like I had. Plain and simple it is just wonderful! Thank you again for a newly renovated unit!

My husband, adult son and I stayed in the suite on 4458 Torquay for 10 days, and would highly recommend it ! The suite is situated in a mature, quiet neighbourhood, only a few blocks away from Mt. Doug where you can hike through the natural forest and up to the peak where you can lookout over the area. We had rented a car, so had no problem getting to and from the suite.....there is a bus stop not far from the suite, not sure how long it would take to get downtown Victoria though. There are no grocery stores, or restaurants within easy walking distance that I saw, so having a car definitely was an advantage. The suite has just been redone, so everything is brand new, with quality furnishings and is tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is large, well equipped, and well lit. There are plenty of linens, which are all high quality too, and a washer and dryer in a closet so you can do laundry if you want. The washer, dryer and dishwasher are all quiet, so you can run them while you are watching TV or visiting with no problems. Fernanda sent pictures of the suite once it was finished....I don't think they are shown here on this listing, but they are exactly as the suite looks. The patio is wonderful to sit out on and have a glass of wine, or cup of coffee....sitting either in the sun or shade, as both are available. The flowers and trees give the yard a real homey feel, the yard fenced for privacy and to keep the little kids inside :) Booking is very easy as Fernanda is quick to reply to emails, and will call to discuss your stay if you prefer. Payment was made through PayPal, which is always nice and easy, reassuring too somewhat when you are making the booking from hundreds of miles away. Fernanda will send a contract to be filled out and returned. Rest assured, you will not be disappointed ! I will definitely stay here again, if not booked :), when I return to Victoria.

Communication with the owner was very clear, fast, and to the point. She responds quickly and answers all questions. THe place was AWESOME! Beautiful flowers and plants around - was absolutely gorgeous. Little touches to the place made a big difference - it definitely has that WOW factor. THe hot tub was actually HOT and ready to use. Would love to stay here again! Thanks for everything!

A true woodside oasis!

We were absolutely amazed with this suite and all the care and little thoughtful touches put in by the owner to make our stay really special. This is a basement unit, but has ample windows and gets plenty of light. A part of the backyard is reserved for the unit, giving the occupants a lot of privacy. The owner has thoughtfully put in a lot of extra touches like little solar lights to light up the pathway at night, motion activated lights in the back when you come back late etc. The linens and toiletries are high quality, not to mention super clean. The garden is gorgeous too! We're definitely going back the next time we visit Victoria! Note to Garmin GPS users: Although Google maps shows the address correctly, our GPS unit couldn't locate it, until we entered 'Saanich' as the city.

And this was truly a perfect name for a delightful apartment looking out into a dense woods. The well furnished apartment is located in a very nice suburban neighbor. The apartment is very artfully appointed. The kitchen has every item needed to prepare a full menu. Everything is spotless. The flower decorated patio is comfortable and private and with a hot tub in which to relax while gazing at the dense woods. Our hostess was pleasant and very accommodating.

What an enjoyable stay. Beautiful suite, fully equipped. Quiet & relaxing. Close to ammenities, minutes from Victoria, short drive to ferry. Sitting outside with the fresh smell of trees & Mt.Douglas to look up at. Walking distance to Mt.Douglasentrance.....great trails with an amazing view from the top of the mountain.

Woodside Oasis worked out perfectly for us this week, it was a true home away from home! It was a pleasure staying here, everything has been beautifully thought out, well done. Location was great, only 15 minutes to downtown and conveniently close to grocery stores, etc. The highlight was the backyard looking onto Mount Douglas Park, and sitting in the hotub listening to the forest wake up in the morning.

We stayed here for the long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the property which is in a quiet neighborhood, but only 10 minutes to downtown Victoria. The owners were very helpful, friendly & accomodating. All of our questions were answered promptly and the property itself is clean, modern & well maintained. We hope to stay again sometime!

We highly recommend this lovely basement suite, which also includes a great hot tub. The suite was very clean, roomy and comfortable. The location was fantastic, the neighbourhood was quiet and walking distance to MT. Douglas Park. The drive to downtown Victoria was only 10-15 min drive. We had a wonderful stay there, and will be sure to stay there on our next visit. Great hospitality from the owner too!!
