On the beautiful southwest coast of Vancouver Island, just past the town of Sooke in Otter Point, you'll find a place of tranquillity and natural beauty. Just minutes from our door are world famous hiking trails, beaches and old growth wilderness forests.
Your luxury one-bedroom suite is in a separate section of our new West Coast contemporary bustom built home on 2.5 acres, completed in 2008. With an amazing south vista view from this high point, experience both the beautiful sunrises in the east and sunsets to the west. The spectacular, panoramic views of the ocean (Strail of Juan de Fuca) and Olympic Mountains are breathaking.
GUEST SUITE
Open the door to your bright, beautifully decorated suite, where floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors to the patio invite you to get outside and enjoy the pristine surroundings of the West Coast's natural wonders. Watch for deer to come right up to your door for a drink from the fountain, and eagles to soar above the treetops.
Sleep deeply on the luxurious king size bed with cozy down bedding, in the separate private bedroom (synthetic bedding on request). Ocean breezes, and a ceiling fan, will keep you at a comfortable temperature. The sofabed in the living area accomodates up to two additional guests (bedding provided). Enjoy a relaxing bubble bath in your sparkling 4 piece bathroom, with warm in-floor heating and fluffy towels.
Or, head outside to the hot tub for a glass of wine while you watch the sun go down over the ocean. Heavenly!
In about 700 square feet, you will have everything you need to be completely at home. The fully-equipped kitchen has a cork floor, custom cupboards, and pantry, island with double sink, and new full-size appliances including dishwasher, refrigerator, range, microwave. The bright dining nook with room for 4, has large windows facing the ocean/mountains. For longer stays, laundry facilities are made available to guests.
When you open the sliding doors from the living area, you'll find your private covered patio with table and chairs for 4, and Ducane gas BBQ. Your own sunny patio extens from the covered patio...the lounge chairs await. Snooze in the sun, listen to the soft trickle of the water feature, soak in the vista ocean/mountain views and wait for the deer to pass by on their way to the thicket.
In the evening or on a rainy day, cuddle up on the cozy furniture around the gas fireplace with a book from your bookshelf, or watch satellite TV. A DVD player, a selection of movies and games are available. Internet connection is in both the living room and bedroom, along with wireless access.
