Vacation Rental Description
Our vacation home was built in 2008 and is located directly across the street from the Cowichan Lake Marina. AND the Tourist Information Center is just three blocks away, making our home very easy to locate!
This large residence features a well appointed kitchen for those that love to entertain and is a fantastic choice for a romantic stay or can easily accommodate up to 3 couples. Families appreciate the proximity to the lake and parks while the adults enjoy the convenience of being close to the shops, restaurants and pubs. We have a great view of the Lake & surrounding hills from our 2 decks and can also watch the boat launching area. Like a "reality show", the boat ramp can provide some interesting entertainment! Our home has all the major appliances including a washer, dryer & dishwasher. The refrigerator also has a built-in Ice Maker. It also has central air-conditioning since the temperature can reach 30 degrees for long stretches. We have cable TV and also an open WiFi internet connection. We don't also pets but welcome children.

Our residence has been designed specifically for recreational activities and features a very large parking lot. It can easily accommodate boats, trailers or RV rigs.
We also have an on-site concierge that takes care of our property and provides cleaning service as required. Colin is a university student that lives in a separate Ohana on the property. Colin also works part-time at the Tourist Information Center and is a wealth of information on whats available in the area.

The Marina offers boat rentals & also features a ski center. For those interested in hiking, we are just 4 blocks away from the famous Trans-Canada Trail terminus! A popular pastime with adults & kids alike is floating down the upper portion of the pristine Cowichan River in an inner tube. Tube rentals are everywhere & some operators can give you a ride back to town. Again all of this is just a few blocks from our house. GOLFING, yes we have a number of courses within an hours drive. The Honeymonn Bay course, March Meadows, has one of the most beautiful settings you will ever see. It has been recently voted "The Best 9 Hole Golf Course on Vancouver Island". At the other end of the scale, Bear Mountain is a large prestigious World Class course. FISHING, yes have that too, both Lake & river. For the avid Fly Fishermen, the Cowichan River has some of Canada's best.
