Welcome to the Cottage at Oceanside. Oceanside’s central location makes it a starting point for exploring other areas of Vancouver Island all within a 2 hour drive. 
We are located across from Rathtrevor Provincial Park which boasts some of the warmest water north of California and the expansive five kilometre beach is perfect for families that enjoy the sand.  
Qualicum Beach and Parksville are close by. Each community offers visitors a different experience from the “Canadian Riviera” to the pedestrian friendly downtown of Qualicum Beach. There are six golf courses nearby as well as many other points of interest. 
Come and visit our cottage and you’ll be tempted to come back year after year. 
 

Our Cottage at Oceanside is completely equipped with everything you need, so you don't have to go out and buy every last little thing. All you need to bring is the food. We have a DVD library, books, towels, sheets, cookware, bakeware, small appliances, a barbeque and much more.

There are six golf courses nearby, Qualicum Beach Memorial, Arrowsmith Golf Club, Pheasant Glen Golf Links, Eaglecrest Golf Club, Morningstar, and Fairwinds Golf Club. Our own Riptide Lagoon Adventure Golf is down the street.In August, Parksville hosts a month-long beach festival that includes a sand sculpting competition&kidsfest. All summer, from 6-9pm on Tues. there is a street market on Craig Street. Horne Lake Caves is famous for spelunking, boating or waterskiing. Spider Lake has a beach good for alunching canoes and kayaks.Rosewall Provincial Park has a wheelchair accessible path that winds through coastal rainforest. Stop by MacMillan Provincial Park, famous for Cathedral Grove, one of the most accessible stands of 80 year old Douglas fir trees in BC. Check out goats grazing on rooftops in Coombs or Butterfly World. Englishman River Falls has a bathing hold and mountain bikers will enjoy TopBridge Regional Park near Parksville.
