If you like quiet family living then this house is for you. The main floor includes living room with gas fireplace, small bedroom with a sofa-bed, toilet, and a brand new, impressive kitchen. Between the kitchen and the living room is a stylish dining room with sitting for 6 people and a view at the backyard garden with apple trees. If the weather is nice, you can take your dining to the outside deck adjacent to the dining room.
Wooden staircase will bring you to the second floor with two large bedrooms with queen beds and full wash room.
Free local phone calls and high speed internet are provided. Ample parking in the backyard or on the street in front of the house.
You will find this house charming as it approaches its centenary. The kitchen has recently been fully modernised and updated, including the electrical. The electrical system in the rest of the house has not yet been updated and may balk if overtaxed. If that happens then you just reset the breaker. You will be living in a vintage, warm home in a very upscale neighbourhood at about 30% discount of the market price.
Please note that NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED ANYWHERE IN THE HOUSE. The house contains one full bathroom and one additional toilet.

Not far away from major tourist attractions, you will find yourself in an upscale but quiet neighbourhood. Although Vancouver is a very young city, many of the houses around have been here for a long time giving to the area a slightly old-fashioned feeling. In fact, Vancouver Kerrisdale area is a tourist attraction by itself. It is only 4 km away from Vancouver International Airport and a walking distance to the nearest golf course, with 3 other golf courses being within 5 to 10 minutes ride by car. The University of British Columbia, Museum of Anthropology and the renowned Wreck Beach are all within 15 minutes of ride. Kitsilano, Vancouver downtown, and West End with countless attractions are also within 15 minutes of ride. So is Stanley Park, Gastown, and Chinatown, as well as Richmond with a number of golf courses.
