Our house is in a quiet neighbourhood fairly centrally located in Vancouver. It is 2,600 sq ft in size and was fully renovated 6 years ago. It is our home, so it is fully furnished and we have a fairly new car which we might consider including in the rental. We know all our neighbours and the ones on either side are good friends as well and available for assistance if needed. The top floor has two bedrooms and a modern bathroom with full tub. The main floor has a kitchen, dining room, living room and parlor as well as a bathroom with a shower. The lower floor has a family room with TV and stereo that opens through french doors to a patio in the back yard. There is also a large sofa bed in the family room which could accommodate another person. The lower floor also has an office and a full bathroom as well as a modern washer and dryer and a freezer. There is ample parking on the street in front of the house.
We intend to rent the house during the Olympics and would prefer a rental for a 2 1/2 week period from Feb 12th to March 1st, although would possibly consider something a bit shorter in duration. The rental fee is $600 per day which reflects the prevailing price during the short Olympic period for similar accommodation.
