Vacation Rental Description
Two Self Contained Units in modern house. Each unit is quite different from the other for features, sleeping accommodation, and price. Each rents separately or in combination with individual rate structures.
Both are fully functioning homes - just unlock the door and unpack. Better than a hotel room, having all the added comforts of home.
Towels, bedding, dishes, cookware, small appliances, fridge, stove, microwave (plus dishwasher in Unit 2) are provided. Also included are all utilities - local phone calls, wireless broadband/DSL internet connection, DVD/CD player and large flat screen TV with satellite/cable service. Parking available.
BOTH UNITS AND ADJACENT OUTSIDE AREAS OF THE PROPERTY ARE TOTALLY NON SMOKING.
• Unit 1. Comfortably furnished, ground level (not basement) Studio apartment - 300 sq ft. (28m²). Private entrance. Clean & quiet. 3 piece bathroom w/ spacious shower stall, full kitchen, full size laundry. Queen bed plus extra wide (48") twin size sofa bed. Sleeps 3 people.
• Unit 2. Unique, functional, multi-level, modern home, the main part of the house - 3 Bedrooms, 2 baths, 1400 sq feet - 130 m² occupying the main and upper floor (2nd & 3rd). This unit accommodates 5-6 persons in 3 Bedrooms (Queen+ Twin beds /Double bed /Twin bed) plus an additional 2 persons on the Sofa-bed in the Living Room. Two flights of (ungated) stairs may make it unsuitable for toddlers, small children under 5 years old unless closely supervised and also for less agile elderly persons. Sorry, Pets declined.
Minimum booking 7 nights unless there are fewer nights between two other bookings that may be available, with a minimum booking of 4 nights. Please inquire.

Officially Eastside, the house is in the area know as Commercial Drive, "The Drive" considered Vancouver’s ‘Little Italy’ with its cosmopolitan mix of trendy through Bohemian residents and visitors. Located just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown it provides a more gentle, quieter way of life.
This diversity gives the area a unique feel unmatched anywhere else in Vancouver.
The immediate area has many individually owned convenience shops, grocery stores, Pubs and Restaurants, also a Supermarket, Banks, Drug and Dollar stores. Further away on the Drive, towards 1st Avenue, a plethora of coffee shops, a few clothing, and furniture stores and is home to some of Vancouver's best ethnic restaurants, cafes, and food stores. Good eats!.
The whole area can be walked easily, nothing is very far away.

The house is located on a short dead-end street near two parks, the larger having a small lake, walking and bicycling trails. All amenities of an active cosmopolitan city and recreational facilities are available nearby. Officially Eastside, the area know as Commercial Drive, "The Drive"; considered Vancouver’s ‘Little Italy’ with its cosmopolitan mix of Trendy through Bohemian residents and visitors.
Located just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown it provides a more gentle, quieter way of life, but offers easy access to Downtown and most other areas of interest by bus at the corner, rapid transit and car, although parking downtown can be quite expensive.The immediate area has local individually owned convenience shops, grocery stores, Pubs and Restaurants, also a Supermarket, Banks, Drug and Dollar stores. Further away on the Drive, towards 1st Avenue, a plethora of coffee shops, a few clothing, and furniture stores and many more restaurants serving a variety of ethnic food. Good eats!
The whole area can be walked easily, nothing is very far away. By car about 15 minutes to the city centre, 20 mins to the airport and Richmond, and about 35mins to/from the US Border.

- Nearest Train Station : Pacific Central at 3 kilometers distance
- Nearest Town : Vancouver - Downtown Area at 5 kilometers distance
- Travel Info: A taxi from the airport is about $35, but the trip is quite possible using public transit and slightly less expensive for a group of 4 people.
Our taxis may only take 4 passengers at a time.
There is only one available route - the rapid transit "Canada Line" then 2 buses, first the #99 express then the local #22.
There is a $5.00 surcharge "add Fare" for the trip on the inbound direction in addition to the regular fare which depends on the time of day you commence your trip. At all times, free transfers between routes with ticket obtained when you pay your first fare.
