Self-contained apartment with separate entrance and large patio can accommodate up to 5 guests. 
The apartment is located in Maple Ridge, about 50 minutes from Vancouver. It is part of a lovely home on one acre high above the Fraser River with fabulous view of the river and Mount Baker in the distance. 
Relax in the beautiful garden, watch birds, paint flowers. 
The apartment consists of a large bed/sitting-room with queen size bed and sofa. French doors separate the lovely full kitchen from the living-room. 
The full kitchen is connected by French doors to the bed-sittingroom and is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, lots of dishes, toaster, electric kettle, spices etc etc. There is a cozy dining area with a large table and chairs. 
A separate bedroom with bath and another single bed sleeping alcove can be added to the apartment for up to 5 guests, or can be rented separately, since it has its own entrance.

    • The living-room opens up to a large patio with a whimsical trellis featuring stained glass pieces. A barbecue by the river , as well as a bench and lounge chair provide relaxing dinner and sunset watching high above the river.

    • Maple Ridge is the horse capital of the region. There are miles of riding trails and several riding centres.  
    7 golf courses offer difficulties from beginners to world class players. Practice on the driving range.  
    Bike or hike the miles of trails along the dikes in the Pitt Polder and or along the Trans Canada Trail.  
    5 lakes and sloughs invite you to canoe and watch wildlife.  
    Climb the Golden Ears mountains or relax in Golden Ears Park.  
    A large public leisure centre offers 3 pools, a sauna and a gym. Or take in a play at our ACT theatre.  
    Then there is Vancouver only 50 minutes away.  
    February 2010 we will host the Winter Olympics in Vancouver/Whistler.

    The above rate is for 2 people for the main apartment. The extra bedroom, which has a separate entrance, can be rented for $75 per night separately or can be added to the main apartment for a reduced price. It does not have cooking facilities, but has it's own bathroom and separate entrance. There is a fridge, TV, Wifi internet connection, an electric kettle for tea or coffee ( included) There is also a sleeping alcove for a maximum of 5 guests. Weekly or monthly rates can be negotiated. For the Winter Olympic Games Feb 12 to 28, 2010 rates can be negotiated. Deposit: 50% Will be returned if the apartment can be rented again, minus 10% fee.
