2 Bedroom Self Catering Apartment in Coquitlam

From the moment you enter this newly renovated vacation rental, you will feel right at home. The master bedroom offers loads of space for your clothes and things. The bed is super comfortable and enjoys a view to the pool area in the backyard. The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds, equally comfortable, offering another view to the backyard and pool area. If necessary, the roll-away bed (stored in a hall closet) can be brought into this room as well.  
 
The fully equipped kitchen and livingroom areas are open to eachother. The electric fireplace adds ambiance and additonal heat for your comfort and enjoyment. A wide array of cable channels, videos or DVD's can be viewed on the new LCD television. Bring your laptop and access the wireless internet from the computer desk area. Two other large closets are in the entrance hall of the suite for your storage needs. 
 
The bright and clean bathroom has a bathtub with a shower. There is also a shared laundry room, easily accessed from one side of the suite. Cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, laundry and ironing facilites/supplies are available to you when needed. For stays longer than 2 weeks, weekly housekeeping is provided through a private housekeeper. 
 
There is a large inground swimming pool in the backyard, accessed by a key provided through the locked gate. Make time during your summertime stay to relax poolside, or have a family barbaque. There are a few lifejackets provided, but you may wish to bring your own if necessary. There is no lifeguard supervision, and children must be supervised. 
 
There is off street parking, in the driveway. If you prefer, you can park on the road. I live upstairs with some of my children. Although we love meeting and visiting with guests around the pool, we also respect that guests like their privacy and quiet enjoyment of the home and yard. 
 
A 15 or 20 minute walk will take you to the Coquitlam Centre area. A large shopping mall, plazas, restaurants, the large bus station, and the West Coast Express trains are all in this area. There is a bus stop about a 5 minute walk away, at the end of our street. It will quickly take you to this or other lower mainland areas. Most people prefer automobile access in the lower mainland, but many guests have just used transit. 
 
This quite and popular guest suite in the lower level of my home in Coquitlam's Ranch Park area, has been operating for 8 years, serving many families or individuals visiting in the area and family, for people between homes during Real Estate transactions, or families dealing with home renos or insurance claims.

We live in a great area where we can enjoy many different activities not more than a few minutes to 40 minutes to the top of the closest ski hill. Port Moody's beaches and oceanside Rocky Point Park are only 10 minutes away. The US border is only 30 minutes away. The outskirts of Vancouver, 25 minutes.  
 
In the nearby Ranch Park area, within a few minutes are 2 parks. Ranch Park is a smaller park with a small playground, just around the block. A 10 minute walk will bring you to an open tennis court beside Ranch Park Elementary School, or go to Coquitlam's wonderful Mundy Park. This urban forest is 1/2 the size of Vancouver's huge Stanley Park. Mundy Park has great running, biking and walking trails. There are 2 lakes in the park, and a wonderful playground. As well as an outside public swimming pool, there are many recreational fields.
