Imagine a beautiful log home set in the middle of the Rocky Mountain wilderness where you can sit and relax on the front porch and see no other people or cars, just the majestic mountain views. Have a private picnic along beautiful Packsaddle creek, which flows through the property or pack a lunch and take a hike along the Packsaddle Creek Loop Trail that begins right on the property. Now imagine that this quiet log home is just a 10 minute drive to the village of Valemount BC with all the great activities it has to offer, 25 minutes to Mount Robson Provincial Park and only 120 Km from world renowned Jasper National Park. This is Packsaddle Creek Lodge. No other place gives you the best of both worlds the way that Packsaddle Creek Lodge does.

The rates when split between a group of four to eight people are as reasonable or better than that of renting a hotel room, especially when you take into account the ability to bring your own food, prepare your favorite meals and share stories of your days adventures around the cozy fireplace before turning into your own comfortable queen sized bed for the night.

Sledders Welcome! We are focusing on groups of six to eight people. Packsaddle Creek vacation home is a great location for a family getaway or a group retreat and can accomodate eight individuals comfortably each with there own queen sized bed or up to eight couples. Each bedroom features two queen sized beds. The stone fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere. Being located in the centre of its own 160 acre parcel of land at the head of Kinbasket lake/Reservoir, insures your privacy, security and relaxation.

We also cater to Companies or Contractors with crews that work in the Valemount area for a month or two at a time and need a place to call home. We can provide High Speed Wireless Internet for your employees upon request. Your employees will also enjoy phone service with free long distance calling anywhere in North America.

Packsaddle Creek Lodge is a stand alone vacation home. Once you book in you are on your own to enjoy the privacy security and comfort of the beautiful surroundings. Use the full kitchen to cook your own meals the way you like them or drive into Valemount and enjoy dining out at one of the fine restraunts. All other activities can be arranged through the Valemount visitor centre.

A long gated private driveway with large parking area which cannot be seen from the main road. Wireless Internet, Jacuzzi bath tub in main floor bathroom. A 6-8 person beachcomber hottub on the lower deck outside the walk out basement. A clothes drying rack and hangars near the woodstove in the walk out basement. Dry firewood for the woodstove in the basement is supplied. All dishes, mugs and glasses,wine glasses, cookware, cutlery are supplied to allow you to prepare your own meals. Drip Coffee maker and filters,coffee and tea, Toaster, kettle, teapot, dish towels, dish cloths, dish soap, place matts,CD player and radio, clock radios in the bedrooms, crib board and cards, bath towels, face cloths, bath matts, gas fireplace on main floor turns on with a flick of a switch.

Sled or ride your ATV's right from the house. Hike up the Packsaddle Creek Loop trail that begins right on the property or enjoy a picnic beside Packsaddle creek that runs right through the property. Enjoy a relaxing hottub after a long day on the trail.

Activities to enjoy in Valemount and surrounding area include, sledding, cross country skiing, down hill skiing in Jasper, golfing, biking, horseback riding,fishing, hiking, climbing, canoeing, river rafting, restaurants and much more.

All prices are Canadian dollars. Rates do not include taxes. Nightly rates for up to six guests. An additional charge of $65 per person per night for additional guests. Minimum 3 night stay required. Payment: An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required upon booking. The advance payment will be applied toward the house rental. Please make payments in the form of traveler's cheques, bank money orders or credit card. The BALANCE OF RENT and a $400 damage deposit is due 14 days before your arrival date. Cancellation policy: All credit card cancellations are subject to a 5% cancellation fee or $50 whichever is greater. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfiet the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
