This is a beautiful country home on five acres of land in the Rocky Mountains. It is near Mount Robson and Jasper.

Vacation Rental Description

Birch Grove Chalet is a 2200 square foot home, on five private aces of wilderness, that is a fully furnished self catering vacation property. The chalet has a mixed forest surrounding it with a fast moving year round creek running through the property. It can comfortably sleep 6 people. It is an ideal mountain retreat for your Summer or Winter vacation where guests can relax and enjoy the wonderful mountain views and take part in a wide variety of outdoor activities.
The property is unique as it is very private, yet it is only a minute away from highway 16. There are walking, hiking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails right out the back door. Just a short drive away in any direction you will find longer hiking trails, tracked cross county skiing trails, snowshoeing trails, heli-hiking, heli-skiing, Cat skiing, rafting, golfing, horseback riding, dog-sledding and fishing.

For a true Canadian experience you can try dog-sledding in the Winter season or rafting in the Summer. Birch Grove Chalet is in the heart of snowmobile and ATV country. For the adventuresome sledders, or for ATV-ing and those who enjoy easy access, there are untracked trails right in the Rocky Mountains behind the property. There are tracked/maintained snowmobile trails in either direction, towards McBride, or Valemount. There are also a wide variety of areas for the ATV rider to explore in either direction.
The property has three bedrooms, one full bath and one ensuite, living room area, dining area, full kitchen, full finished basement, dishwasher, microwave, all small appliances, stereo, telephone, fresh linens and towels, washer/dryer, satellite TV, DVD player and wireless internet. A variety of spices are provided for your cooking convenience.
Check-in begins at 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am.
Minimum Age Requirement: At least one member of the party booking & staying in this property must be 25 years of age or older.
Pets are allowed. Please refer to our pet policy, below.
Smoking is prohibited.
Bedrooms
There are three bedrooms, one with two twin beds and two bedrooms with two twin beds in each room, which can convert into king sized beds. There is also one hide-a-bed.
Birch Grove Chalets sleeps six comfortably, but can accommodate eight.
Other Amenities
Hot tub, BBQ, garage, iron and ironing board, patio furniture, wood stove, large clothes drying area by wood stove, various books for your enjoyment, a wide variety of board games, a large wrap around deck and a recreation room. There is an outside fire pit and a large parking area for travel trailers and snowmobile trailers. The driveway has two entrances so trailers and vehicles can drive through. Extra parking is available for large vehicles and trailers.
Pet Policy
1. Please bring along your pet's towels to ensure he/she is clean and dried outside to avoid tracking in sand, dirt, water mud or snow.

2.Make sure that your pet is not left alone unless securely crated.

3.To avoid damage to a property's floors, please have your pet's nails trimmed and smooth. Please ensure your pet is under control at all times and on a leash when outdoors.

4.To prevent your family and others from stepping in anything unpleasant, please be sure to clean up after your pet at all times and dispose of any waste in an appropriate manner.

5.The maximum is two pets per booking.

There is a full kitchen with all the dishes, cutlery and pots and pans to cook gormet meals. A wide variety of spices are available for our guests. Catering is available upon request. Please enquire about the catering menu and prices by email. All the sheets and bedding and towels are provided.

In the winter season Birch Grove Chalet is a wonderful area for snowmobile and sledding enthusiasts. There are a wide variety of groomed trails in both directions and there are ungroomed trails close by the chalet. There is also dog sledding close by and cross-country and back country skiing in the area.
In summer spring and fall, this area is amazing for touring on All terrain vehicles. There are trails right off the property that go right up to the alpine. For the hiker who loves to be in the mountains, there are wonderful trails right from the property and in either direction.
A wide variety range of rafting trips are available in the area.

Birch Grove Chalet is located in one of the most beautiful settings in the world. There are many activities that you can do right in the local area or out the back door of our property. If you enjoy hiking, whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, walking, four wheeling or walking, this is the place to come!

Rental Rates

$250.00 per night, $1000.00 per week. $50.00 per night extra for each occupant over the recommended number of six, to a maximum of eight. Birch Grove Chalets require a minimum of two nights stay. Your preferred dates are secured with a 25% deposit, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to check in, along with the damage deposit. The reservation shall take effect and be confirmed when we receive the deposit and signed rental agreement. Rental deposits can be securely paid online through Paypal or other arrangements can be made to pay by cheque or money order. The damage deposit will be returned upon inspection of the property, before your departure.
