Casa Del Mila Oro Resort is located on Lakeshore Drive, premium waterfront on South Osoyoos Lake. Osoyoos is the home of Canada's only desert with hot, dry summers & very little rain throughout the year; perfect for water activities in the summer, golf & wine tasting in the spring & fall or heading up to the 2 local mountains in the winter. A 10 minute walk from the resort will get you into town for shopping, restaurants etc. Young children & teens will enjoy visiting Rattlesnake canyon, a small amusement park located 5 minutes from the resort with crazy golf, go karts & numerous other activities. The summer evenings are warm, perfect for sitting on the patio with a glass of wine or watching the sunset over the lake.
The pool is just steps away from the patio (close enough to keep an eye on the older children but far enough away for privacy). The lake is a 2 minute walk through the resort. There you can enjoy relaxing on the private beach, swimming in one of Canada's warmest lakes or participating in one of the many water sports.

Mount Baldy is a great family mountain just a 45 minute drive from Osoyoos. Whether it's downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or cross country skiing, you'll love the abundance of powder snow the area is famous for. If you're looking for more of a challenge then head up to Apex Mountain, an hour & 15 minute drive from Osoyoos. Golfing is also available. There are full courses close by and an executive course minutes away that, with the dry climate, is playable almost year round.
